ParticipantRe: Usefull syringe
Opted for a 100ml one off ebay £3.99. Been meaning to sort a new one out for ages. Mind you the colonnic irrigation ones probably hold a bit too. Might be the start of a new career as well.

Already been ‘mentioned’. 😉
Nothing they can do about it they say. Pointless service now I would’ve thought with hardly any benefit. That’ll be gone soon then I guess 😥TC

Possibly wouldn’t reset if latch was closed as such. Will only reset while door open normally.

At the age it is you will be very unlikely to be able to make a good seal between the new bellows seal and the top of the PU support tube.
Yeah, seem to reccomember that was the case last time. 😥
Really is a shame as the machine is in good nick apart from the obvious but would hate to spend an hour plus on it and still get nowhere. When I was at HPT and the 9605 was still in production the trainers told us if the seal leaks change the PUK. There may have been a reason other than the ££££ in the job then 😉

Talikng of which.
Been called to a 9600 with aleak. Date code 07.
Both pump and bellows seal have gone and if poss I would like to repair it for them. The seal is still available at M’part but can’t remember if it’s worth a stab. Only did one MANY moons ago and seem to remember it wasn’t over successful due to PUK corrosion. Plus does the top of the power unit have to come? off
Reckon it’s worth a try, or am I pointing yet another luger at me toes :rolls:cornwell40

ParticipantRe: Ci555 no fast spin
Fault traced to brown white wire on motor plug broken inside plug casing.
Presumably a field tap or summat. Motor turns fine on low revs but when it should ramp up for high spin keeps ‘bouncing’ speed and a relay on the board can be heard clicking. Ken, do you want the board returning?tC

Is this the one with the u bend built into the drain hose.
I’ve had partial blockages (coins) in those before now. Not easy to get to though without your old metal coathanger 😉TC
