    Regarding the employed side I’m being offered 15 days holiday plus £18k per year. After being self employed for 10 years I’m pretty out of touch with engineers salaries. I cover home laundry, dishwashers and electric cooking and will be doing a fair bit of admin as well so is £18k reasonable?

    TBH, I tell the customer what to expect repair wise from this td when they call.

    Replacing both boards power and display after cleaning up the pot on th edisplay board to no avail. All knobs and timer buttons to be replaced as well. What crap build quality for an expensive bit of kit :cry:, luckily customer was with me when the knobs were falling to pieces.

    Just the principle of it really Ken.
    Wasn’t getting much work off it anyway but as no contract had been signed with the seconnd lot I can’t see how they could justify it.

    Why do customer say ‘ I’ve had problems with this machine from day one’, and then proceed to tell you the manufacturer came out twice during the guarantee to get coins out of the pump! :rolls:
