Just as a matter of interest, what should the motor readings be on this machine?

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool awg349/4 display fault
Fault(s) all found now.
Customer agreed to new power board, went back to fit and works first time. Display and everything for……about 15 seconds. This time it allowed me to start a wash though, so had to wait till programme finished to see whether it would still select. On further investigation found a slight dried waterstain on the inside of the display board casing and a puddle stain on the flush metal lid of the machine. Machine sited under the draining board and the customer (tennant) ‘ always uses the dishwasher’ even though there is a pile of washing up on the drainer :rolls: .
Priced up the display board and it comes in at a loverly £242 on Connect 😯 😯 😯
The landlords have six of these machines in this two year old new build so I guess they may be gtting more calls on these.
Expecting a difficult phone call on Monday 😥TC

ParticipantRe: NO CALL OUT CHARGE… (So how exactly does that work???)
Explain to callers that there is no call out charge for local area (if you’ve got to travel miles to them a charge based on distance is reccomended).
BUT there is a diagnosis fee if they deem the repair to be too expensive or its unrepairable, if they go with the repair its just part of the total charge. I usually charge £20 for that. It gets rid of the diyers and ‘I want to know if its worth repairing……£40 thats more than I wanted to pay’ mob.TC

ParticipantRe: Smeg DWI612c
Aye!!
Once I checked the search with the right model number, I realised I’d posted this query before.
For the same customer two years ago when I changed the dispenser and the board 😳 .
File this one under Berk.

ParticipantRe: Are you quiet at the moment or is it me?
Had the quietest few weeks since I went solo in 1998. thought it was down to me jettisoning Tompsons and the BT Pronebook but everyone I speak to says the same. Even started doing the shoot yourself in the foot type of jobs that I used to say no to (out of area or ‘I’ve had the back off’ types).
