    😀 😀 😀

    Baron, thanks for your help on this one , it worked first time.

    Yep once it was programmed, the eeprom was removed and the dishwasher worked fine.

    Until next time something goes on it. 😥

    Is this handle a kit with the latch or separate. Need a number for the latch if anyone knows it (HP11).

    Thanks Bud, I’ll try that tomorrow.
    Indesit eh?? Talk about shooting themself in the foot. They now have a customer with a large extended family ( I go to three sons and their daughter), all previously have been brand loyal to Hotpoint for years who now wouldn’t touch them with a sh***y stick. Save pennies and lose pounds should be their motto. 👿

    Could this be the same on the WIDL102 machine, crease guard light is flashine / pressure switch stuck on empty. This p/switch was replaced 11 months ago 😥 so I was hoping something else would cause this fault :wink:. What’s the part code for these I can’t finda potentiometer or control anywhere?

    Replacement of PCB and eeprom will be done in next sequence:
    – After replacement of new module and eeprom, disconnect connector CN05;
    – plug the power supply cable and switch on the appliance using on/off switch (wait 20 seconds);
    – Turn off the appliance using on/off switch and unplug the main power cable;
    – Remove the eeprom from the socket and waste it;
    – Reconnect the display connector (previously disconnected);
    – Refit the board, plug in and switch on the dishwaser;
    – At this moment, display will show washing cycles correctly, and the appliance is ready to work.

    Sorry, I didn’t scroll far enough down. Thanks for all your info Baron, much appreciated. Just a query what do you mean by remove the eeprom and waste it, does it not stay in the board?

    On the invoice I recieved from Indesit it notes code c00141726 obsolete replaced by c00141721.

    Module is c00144658.

    These were parts ordered directly fron them and looked up by spares dept. there.

    In the old days when there was a programme change or mod to anything you had a leaflet in the box. Oh for the old days when men were men and Hotpoint were…..Hotpoint!!!! 😥

    Re: FDW80 AL10

    Old board completely blown due to L/N fusing together at heater.
    The old board had a space for a eprom but nothing connected there just unsoldered holes in the board. The new board has a socket for the eeprom, which seems to fit perfectly (although thats no guarantee it’s the correct one 😕 ).

    Re: FDW80 AL10

    Does that mean that I need another facia/ user board as well?
    Customer won’t wear that, I’m sure. This pile is only 16 months old and it’s already cost me more time and money than its worth. I think I’m going to cut my losses on this one 😥 .

    FBH in box ready for next visit 😈 .

    Got board and eeprom from Ineptos*it.
    Getting Al09…..software not recognised 😥
    Does this eeprom, board or whatever need to be programmed or is it plug and play. This board (at I’s confirmation that it is the right one) looks different to the original in that there is no eeprom socket on it.
    I’m rapidly losing patience and money on this one, should I get the FBH out………

    Had a similar one years ago. Went to a no motor call while working at Hotpoint. Took the top off and literally…..no motor. Previous tennant had nicked it :rotfl: .

    😳 😳
    Er …..last one on this chaps.
    Is there a right and a wrong way up to fit the eeprom. I can see where it fits but it could go in either way.

    Any help appreciated as I hate expensive bangs 😥 .

    Flippin eck 😥 .
    Sorry Jim, went with the board number given me by connect 😳 cos yours came up as timer. Guess what, it gave me a software error.
    So contacted Indesit to get info from them….different number (c00143224)and needing correct eprom. Thing is, their price is £40 odd quid cheaper than Connects price with the discount given.

    Hopefully this’ll sort it and that Connect will accept a non return wrong part with no mention of eproms:rolls: .

    Or the one I got yesterday, can you get me a call today? (this is 11am)
    ‘No problem , next call slot is 3/5’
    ‘Oh thats no good I need someone quicker than that ‘ 😯 and slammed the phone down. The rude ones like that seem to be getting more frequent though 😥 .
