ParticipantRe: Lg Washer Dryer F1403RD6
That’s exactly what I found and it had made a hell of a mess.
It must be a be a bit of a problem for them.
It was just over two year old and out of warranty and I told them to contact LG and look for something.
Now LG have contacted me and asked for a written report so they can decide what way, if any, to help the customer.
Hopefully they can get something out of them.Dave.

ParticipantRe: De Dietrich Oven
I’m bumping this as i’ve the same problem again, with the same people!!!
They switched it off at the wall not knowing it was on pyroclean and now nothing but the light works. The last time i waited for a new lock but i’m hearing a bit about PCB’s blowing on these and dont want to be stuck with a lock if its not the only fault.
So, does anyone know how to bypass it?
cheers

I assume then that that’s the fan that cools the electrics.
How much heat would there be there? It doesn’t seem too warm. It’ll take me a few days to get a fan so should I get him to turn it off in the meantime?dave-m

ParticipantRe: Miele W828
Hi Martin, thanks for the info and sorry I’ve not replied.
The customer was away for Easter and are only back tomorrow or the next day so I’ll get to have another go then.
I’m going to stick in a spare machine and take their one home so I can take my time on it as i want to ensure its working fully before I give it back.
With regard to the fault that I’ve created on the board, I was going to send it to a guy in Amsterdam (recommended by an ex Miele guy) who should give it a complete once over while repairing the fault I caused and tell me if there’s anything else that was wrong. He sends these back with a years warranty as long as you change the shocks on the machine too as apparently they cause the boards to fail also through vibration when worn! However, the original snag of it not filling up could still be there, my ex Miele new mate said that in 6 years he never had that fault or changed a pressure board. But we’ll see.
The solenoids are the triple type with a single four wired plug connection.
I’m not sure how removing the pressure pipe from the switch will prove if its faulty. Connected it lets in a little water and I assume if its disconnected it will just keep filling, right? Does that prove the switch?
Either way, I hope to know more in a couple of days when I get my hands on it again.
I’ll keep you posted.
Cheers
Dave
