ParticipantRe: ZANUSSI FJR1454W
E84 is the triac on the main PCB that controls the circulation pump at fault.
New board is the only solution according to the tech info 🙁
Unless you can trace the triac back of course 😉

Sadly it won’t help Darren as they are completely different dishwashers but thanks for the input 😀
ADP8242 is made by Smeg and the ADP8342 is a Haier (Chinese).
Darren, check out the other posts regarding your model 😉
It’s not an easy job I’m afraid, power off if you do decide to look further :zap: or check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂
The thermostat is quite reasonable if required at around £10 inc.

If you can get the PNC I should be able to dig out the diagnostics for you 🙂

Well, he seems polite enough in his posts 😉
It’ll drop off after today.

ParticipantRe: Zanussi FAE 1025V faulty?
That rules out the door lock then, what happens when you select a spin only cycle ?
If it’s the same then it’s engineer time to be honest as there’s an electronic problem by the sound of it. Check the repairs@ link below should the need arise 🙂

I guess the water is cold when you open the door ?
If that’s the case, the heater cut-out will have activated normally caused by 3/4 in one tablets. A common fault on these.
Use the forum search for just the numeric part 8342 and you’ll find plenty of info on this one 🙂

ParticipantRe: Zanussi FAE 1025V faulty?
I assume no fault codes are being displayed ?
Once switched on and after the pump pulses, is the door locked ?

ParticipantRe: Homark single electric oven
If you have a Masterpart account, go to catalogue/cookers/door hinges, on page two scroll down to the ones starting 77X????
Photos of Brandt ones there are the most likely.
If not, send me a photo of the hinge and I’ll check 🙂

ParticipantRe: Servis Larder Firdge
The part number is correct but as Greg says, it sounds more like a system fault to be honest. Thermostat failure would normally result in frozen food.

ParticipantRe: LG Ref/Freezer GR-642QVP water dispenser broken
I can get the pump/motor for you KCU 😀
It depends how fast you want it, one distributor who has it in stock the price is £61.13 and another who would take 2-3 weeks to supply is £38.93 😕
Both inc VAT, ex carriage (£4.95)
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you’d like one

ParticipantRe: Hygena Diplomat APM 8512 will not drain
The part you unscrewed is the filter 😉
If there’s no coins or anything similar in there then the pump may have failed, you can see that here:

Power off please if you decide to look further or if you need some pro help, check the repairs@ link below 🙂

ParticipantRe: Removed Thread
I can’t remember exactly the first line but it involved a Redneck taking his daughter to the doctor and the doctor asking if she was sexually active.
The Father’s reply:
“No, she just lays there like her Mother” 😀

ParticipantRe: Remove thread?
Cheers Greg, I was about to delete it as well but my mouse hand wouldn’t stay still due to me laughing at it (the joke) 😆
As you say, not suitable for the forums though 🙂
Dave.
