Indeed it is (sort of), a nice chap from Servevast helped me out… 🙂

Not just for factory, it’s for engineers also. Basically you’ve managed to start the test cycle. This is the important bit though:

    a. the test cycle, when selected, has to be finished. If power is interrupted, the programme has to restart from the point it was interrupted.

So basically let it carry on until completion and it should then be fine to use as normal 😀

I’ve never heard of a C code an a Smeg dishwasher being displayed 😕

I’ll see what I can find out though 😉

jcolcombe wrote:I have done a search for an engineer and unfortunately no local engineer is listed – surprising for SW London

That’s due to it being a gas appliance, many engineers won’t register to repair them purely down to the costs of training and Corgi registration etc and the relatively low level of gas cookers that need repairing.

That aside, let me know yoour postcode and I will check a list I have here.

The fault sounds straightforwrd enough, probably the electrode or the lead.

    Re: Homark Fan Oven Knobs

    Well they’re still available 😀

Apparently they are both the same, part number 2185004199 at £11.24 each plus carriage (£3.95). Special order so they make a while.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please if you’d like them ordered 🙂

    Re: Homark Fan Oven Knobs

This model is made by Delonghi but there are no spares listed for it. That’s not to say they aren’t available.

I can place an enquiry on this for you. To help identify, how many knobs are there and their function please ?

Bryan wrote:Strange looking pressure switch , do these cause problems

Generally no, they are the “analogic” type, they change resistance as the pressure increases and rely on a low power (5V-12V I think :?) to work.

Probably an air lock or there’s a tiny hole/split in the pressure tube/chamber ?

OK, who’s up for moving this thread to the public forums, that way Google will index it and more people will see the downside of such companies ?

I can email them asking for comment as well as that way they can read it themselves 😉
