This relates to this thread I assume ?

If you’ve tried the reset as Penguin suggested and it didn’t rectify the issue I think it’s engineer time in all honesty as something may be causing a software error on the PCB, it could of course be the PCB itself.

Check the repairs@ link below 🙂

There’s no 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} way of checking to be honest but if it’s working OK (especially the dispenser opeing every time) then it can’t be much elase really.

It’s probably the springs that have snapped but these are now very obsolete I’m afraid as are the hinges 🙁

You may be able to find a suitable spring in a hardware store that could be utilised to do the trick 🙂

    Thanks

As Iadom has already mentioned, we can’t walk you through the repair for legal and safety reasons, needless to say, allow plenty of time 😉

Re: Hotpoint Mistral Plus FF Temperature (again)

If you remove the salad bin the model number should be there or sometimes on the overhang of the lid.

It’s pretty much assured though that they will be the correct ones, I’ve seen the green sheathed thermistors a few times before.

I’ve also added a fridge lamp to the shop:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ath=27_127

If you can find the model for 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} confirmation it would be useful 🙂

    Re: Scandinova Fridge loud noise

It’s almost certainly the compressor then in that case. On a freestanding fridge it would be an uneconomical repair to replace to be honest (circa £150).

If you do need confirmation an engineer’s visit is the only sure way, the reapirs@ link below should provide one 🙂

It may of course run perfectly as far as cooling goes for some time but will eventually fail completely.

A link between 1 and 2 and another between 3 and 4 if you’re connecting a 4 terminal solid plate to just a live and neutral ?

Re: Creda Europa Solar Plus main oven overheating

It’s almost certainly the thermostat that has gone way out of tollerence, +45C is far too much.

The thermostat can easily be obtained, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for that but it’s not an easy one to replace in all honesty, you may prefer to get an engineer out to replace for you, the repairs@ link below should provide one 🙂

If the PCB is at fault, yes it can be replaced but it isn’t cheap. Part number 696290762 at £114.81 ex VAT and carriage 😯

If you’re certain it’s failed and need one, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get things under way 🙂

Power off when checking :zap: or if you’re unsure and would like an engineer to check for you, check the repairs@ link below.
