Ah, but is there “behind the scenes” ? 😉

I think all the Q’s have been answered in the best manner possible hence my lack of involement to be honest, if I contribute as well it’ll look like we’re “ganging” up on the doubters which would further enhance their negative comments.

We need to summon support from the “believers” methinks to dampen the spirits.

I’ve had a PM convo with Andy over repairs@ this weekend as he’s had no calls and wanted the name changed from AC Talbot to Andy Talbot as it’s less formal, when I check it out he covers an enormous 4 postcodes !!!

    Says a lot really 😉

    Re: Blomberg 1301 ABB bearings

    Hi,

There is no bearing kit as such for this model I’m afraid, the bearings will be generic, the seal is around £25 which will need replacing.

You’ll need to to do 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the job beforehand and let us know the bearing sizes please (Blomberg/Brandt the manufacturer) show the bearings but have a horrrendous price tag of £20+ for each bearing when they can easily be supplied for less than half that 🙂

The bearing numbers will be 620?, possibly 6205 and 6206 I think for this model (anyone confirm ?)

    Power off of course 😉

It would certainly appear so, you can see it here in our shop 😀

Your already 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the way there to replacing it, just remember to keep the power off please :zap: when working on it.

If, after testing you do find it at fault, it’s this one:

Yep, I’d go with that as well 🙂

Although support hasn’t dwindled at all Sean IMO, just there’s 100’s of new members on the site now and they all have an opinion 😉

Cut the crap, keep it lively I say 😀

Sorry about the awful image (it isn’t too bad if you “click to enlarge”), it’s the best I can find tonight 😉

I’ll update the image correctly next week when I can photo one properly.

    Note part number change also.

    Re: ZAN-ZCGHL55XN

Sorry, the Zanussi is actually a 55cm model but esentially the same.

The only other brands that make eye level grill gas cookers of any reasonable build quality are Cannon, check any of the sub brands also, if the width isn’t too important:

    and

    http://ws1.kelkoo.be-direct.co.uk/showp … CAN-10525G

    Basically the same cooker 😉

There may be some dual cavity versions also.

    Dave.
