Don’t do anything without taking them to task on that as the parts carry a 12 month warranty if fitted by one of their agents or employed engineers. We are an agent and have to offer that as part of the agreement.

It may just require a new dispenser though as this can cause some odd software errors on these dishwashers.

The PCB is circa £150 so don’t go buying one just yet 😉

I think fazzer has tried that route P to no avail if it’s the same email I got earlier.

Pop your postcode up please, one of the guys should pick it up hopefully, if not, phone MFI Extracare on 08457 959722 as they will have an agent in your area.

List (retail) Laurence, not a lot of discount though, although it may be a bit cheaper from Smeg directly as they have a higher level of discount 😀

If you’re using 3-in-1 tablets then you don’t need rinse aid as well, this will be the problem no doubt.

I would recommend once you’ve used the tablets, go back to straightforward (non 3-in-1 type) tablets/liquid/powder and then use rinse aid.

Re: Hotpoint Aquarius TDC30s stopped drying

What Clive means is, is the tumble dryer sounding normal, as in it all appears to be working OK ?

Switch t on and after five minutes open the door, if it’s cold then either the thermostats need replacing or the heater, the former is far more likely.

Part number 1701583, which you can get here:

Just out of interest for you, and I know pattern spares got a mention above but the Qualtex stat kits are no longer one shot devices, both stats are auto reset so we NEVER get a recall and we sell them via the shop here and over the counter and I’ve not had one back yet in 6 months 😉

    *cough splutter*

Read my first post in this thread,

I have no reason at all to discredit GS as a person but as far as I am concerned he’s been on the “rip off” from day one.

Can’t be arsed to talk to Alex, accusations of taking massive management fees, phoning me all the time to do TA postcodes even though I tell AIS to phone sedgemoors’s 😆 and TALK to Alex

Feck ’em, low volume shite anyway, who needs it.

I imagine the noise has stopped by now or you have gone insane listening to it ? 😆

There’s an alarm cancel button on the front (or should be) I have a similar model myself and it’s most annoying if you have the door open for any length of time.

This doesn’t explain the sudden drop to -26 though, has it stabilised yet ?
