ParticipantRe: brandt co20fw
Not off-hand m but it’s one hell of a lot more expensive from MFI than Brandt for some reason 😕
Over £100 IIRC 😯
I can check the part number tommorow for you if required though.

ParticipantRe: Electrolux ESI 602
It’s circa £65 inc VAT and delivery and quite a job to replace as it involves changing a few components.
Not a DIY job in all honesty, but if you’re going to have a go, I can get it for you.
Whatever you do though, whip the plug out of the socket beforehand :plug: :zap:

I think you’ve answered you’re own question Simon 😀
After many 30 C washes only, it’s almost certainly full of sh!te everywhere.

ParticipantRe: LG WM1285 THD washer (direct drive) noisey
There’s a few modifications to these, including:
Shock absorber replacement (new part number, sometimes works)
Cabinet anti rattle things (that don’t work)
New front counterweight and fixings (that doesn’t work)
New feet (softer rubber I believe – makes it worse in some cases).I think you get the picture 😉
Personally, I’d try the shocks and see if it helps, I can check the part tommorow for you, let me know eh ?

Dave, I am a retailer myself and an appointed Hotpoint centre to boot (for my sins ;)), believe me, I have every sympathy, you are not alone !!

There now seems to be a message that goes with these hinges, and I quote:
“Please note on some versions of FBI534?? it may be necessary to fit new rollers/inner door panel to complete the repair.
50222913001 – roller
50226558000 – inner door”Marvellous eh 👿

Drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and I’ll arrange.

ParticipantRe: brandt co20fw
Brandt and MFI use the same, well MFI use the Brandt fridge to be more accurate.
From memory as I ordered one recently for someone the pcb is £55 ex vat and carriage.
Try Kev’s suggestion, if that doesn’t work and you need one ordered, let me know 😉

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WD865A complaint
Don’t forget, even though the retailer is responsible, this isn’t their fault 😉
Give them the benefit of the doubt and see what happens by the weekend 😀

Nope, Kev’s your man for the chair IMO, he’s well practiced at it now :duck:
And as they say near closing time in Martin’s hostelry Anymore for Anymore ??
If anyone who hasn’t already let me know is planning on coming along, could they let me know as soon as possible please as I need to arrange lunches for Friday and the seating for both days.
Thanks 8)

ParticipantRe: ariston awd 12s margherita
The problem your guy has and we all have is that there is little technical information available for these due to Merloni’s reluctance to release it to the trade in general.
I would let him carry on as he’s taken the time and effort to call already, let us know the outcome please though 😀

The retailer Dave.
Your contract is with them and not the manufacturer, they have the responsibilty to ensure you recieve good service/repairs/exchanges should these be required.
You have not recieved any of these things, let them deal with it on your behalf.
Dave.
