    Try these guys:

    RDA Service & Install Ltd 01698 749488

They’re not UkWhitegoods members I don’t think, but that’s the only contact I have for the EH postcode district.

If you could let them know where you got the number please 😀

That’s the way most of the guys have come across UKW I think, apart from the mailing list guys and the initial email promotion Ken did at the outset.

I had a trade guy in the other day who happened to mention he’d seen my name on a website with a walking caveman next to it 😆

Take a look in the “known error codes” thread in this forum 😀

The number of flashes indicates a code, as in three flashes then a pause and then three more flashes = Fault code 3 etc.

    The document is here:

    http://www.odpm.gov.uk/stellent/groups/ … 029960.pdf

    Nearly 1.5mb and 44 pages 😯

I’ve not had time to read it yet though 😕

E1 means the aquastop has activated.

Most likely a leak and the base has water in it.

If you need help with an engineer, pop your postcode up as someone here should be able to help, if you’re gonna have a go yourself, make sure you pull the plug 1st !!

    They’re fine M.

Payments prompt etc, no issues at all with me.

You may wish to read the recent Brandt thread as D&G handle all their work, the situation is improving though 😀

    Re: Which Leads Me Onto…

    E-jobs 😉

You’ve probably already got that though 😀

Apart from that, ditto all of the above, as P says, the informality of UKW is paramount, the vast majority of the guys out there don’t and will never do contract work, they’re you’re everyday one man bands (no disrespect intended) who just want to offload tales and get help with tips and tricks.

Look what happened to DASA 8)

Unless you go for a Bosch group, Electrolux group or a Miele they’re all pretty much the same Jaded really.

Most made in the same factory with a different name on them.
