    Re: Hygena AHY 8101/2 Leak

This is a Brandt made one, the E2 error stuff doesn’t apply to this one I’m afraid.

Almost certainly the lower spray arm has a split along it’s seam which will need replacing. Because of this the water circulation will have been reduced causing the overheat thermostat to cut out, which in turn will stop the programme advancing.

This is manually resettable but not easy to get at, as you’ve obviously had a good look inside, the stat has a button on it that needs pressing.

Let me know if you need a spray arm.

It’s not an MFI/Diplomat model with that serial number, more likely it’s a Merloni, Nardi or Fagor.

I can try and identify for you, I’ll need some pictures though:

One of the control panel (buttons etc) and one of the motor/pump itself.

    Two choices for you:

    Levett & Martin 01892 528192

    Sellens Service 01732 521500

If you would be good enough to let whoever you choose know where you got the info please 😀

Re: Diplomat Dishwater – Light on – Code needed

That’s indicating that the dishwasher has a leak and the aquastop safety device has been activated.

No reset for this one as the leak will need to be identified and rectified before doing anything else.

There may be water in the base so I would suggest it is disconnected from the power and an engineer attends to repair it for you.

The £70 call out you mention will almost certainly include some labour time, quite often enough to carry out the repair.

    Re: AEG door glass

I can get it for you, it’s a bit pricey though £111.33 ex VAT and delivery.

    That’s £135.31 in total :eeek:

In stock at AEG so you should get it in time for Xmas as long as it was ordered today or tommorow.

Drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you want further info.

Re: Liebherr fridge light heating fridge up

Ah, now that makes more sense.

I assume then the unit is positioned in a garage or other place where the temperature is below 18C ?

This would be the case for any unit, the thermostat will not operate correctly at these ambient temperatures, Liebherr have just had the foresight to try and overcome it.

Even if you could return it, which is unlikely, any replacement would either not work correctly or may have a similar system built in unless it were positioned in a warmer enviroment, it will of course not be effected during the warmer months.

    Re: Hoover Washing machine

Definitely not a new machine required !!

It sounds more like you are using too much detergent and/or softener to me.

Remove the drawer completly and give it a good clean, paying particular attention to the syphon for the softener.

The ammount of water being used should be correct otherwise the machine wouldn’t work correctly and certainly wouldn’t wash your clothes effectively.
