I think that may well be that you don’t do gas repairs Martin.
Could anyone else confirm that only directory listings with gas mentioned got this email please ?

guest wrote:the part no. is 919577900 , any idea how much this part will cost?
The part is £69.88 inc VAT from Merloni.
guest wrote:and would you recommend original or copy parts?
There will be little difference in the price if this is the reason you ask, also fitting non genuine parts effectively changes the specification of the appliance rendering the manufacturers installation and use instructions void, therefore not compliant with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations set in place by Corgi and the Health Executive.
Also having a non Corgi registered engineer fit the part is in contravention of those regulations.

The FSD is the most lilely, although you will need a Corgi registered engineer to confirm and fit the part for you.
To identify the FSD, there will be a model number on the cooker somewhere beginning CKG or GC as there are several Twinline 3000 versions.

ParticipantRe: Dishwasher nightmare….Please help.
It stands for negative temperature coefficient, it’s a thermistor.
I would advise against changing parts on the off-chance though, you could well end up spending money unnecessarily.
If you’re unsure, call an engineer and save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration 😉

kwatt wrote:There is now an updated agenda for day one, the Friday, available in the downloads section. There are now 33 people attending the meeting over the two days.
Are we to assume that the Saturday agenda remains unchanged and is the final version ?

When it stops and bleeps, before pressing the start button to reset, see how many/which lights are on and if any are flashing or staying on.
The lights will indicate a fault code which may help, but in general they are only a guidline.

It sound’s like it, yes.
If you let us know your postcode someone here may be able to assist, or check in the directories.

Clint, the model number should be beside the salad bin.
Is this unit frost free ?

In general yes they are. Which applies to most appliances, you get what you pay for on the whole.
It may be worth checking if Bosch have a similar model, as it will be the same product (Bosch Neff and Siemens are all part of the same company)

ParticipantRe: ‘Stocklink’ FREE!
It would appear that it is only being offered at the moment to “good” customers or prospective “good” customers with a view to removing some custom from Connect.
TBH, I did have Stockling before on a trial basis and found it to be quite the most horrendous piece of software I ever laid my hands on, so it never got used and was eventually uninstalled, that was 4 years or so ago.
Have there been any improvements ?

ParticipantRe: most expensive thing found !!
smartin wrote:so what is the most expensive thing anyone has pulled out of a washing machine chaps, smartin
A gold/diamond wedding ring thet the customer had thought she had lost and went out and bought an exact replacement so her husband wouldn’t find out. I’m not sure of the exact value but it had quite a few diamonds on it and it was a chunky bugger.
I never got a tip either 😥
