Re: Bosch dishwasher inlet trip thingy

I think the whole number’s wrong actually.

    There’s a WFO2462 or WFL2462 – both are washing machines.

Re: Indesit WE16 Washing machine – CPU resets

    Hi.

There are two different pcb’s for this machine dependant on serial number, both are about £90, the EEPROM is about £20 extra if this has failed.

That’s the worst case scenario though, it may well be something else throwing the software in to a frenzy.

I would suggest you call an engineer before giving up, have a look in the directories on the main menu <<<<<<<<.

There is info there of NN postcode coverage.

I can supply it if you like, it’s £47.60 inc VAT and postage etc.

Let me know if you want to go ahead and I’ll forward details.

I would say it’s gotta be the way they are fitted to be honest, or the way the machine is loaded.

I have a few customers who return for new lifters every few weeks, and others that buy only one and we never see them again (unless they get fed up and buy something else of course).

A Bosch/Siemens (same thing, different wrapper) would be a reasonable choice, or if you can stretch it to £500 go for a Miele.

If that’s the only grill symbols there are, it can only be set to either full grill or half grill, both with the fan running. This older model probably didn’t have a cavity cooling fan, so the oven fan will be acting as some form of air distribution to stop the cavity overheating I expect.

Which model is it Lawrence, the mechanical timer type or electronic ? I guess as you “put” it on the drain cycle it’s a mechanical timer.

I had one of these wich did just that, it was a piece of crap (not literally) floating around in the sump/pump area.

Siematic are a german kitchen manufacturer:

    http://www1.siematic.de/

They don’t make appliances as far as I know, chances are, as your customer says, the cooker will be rebadged.

Maybe if she checked around the door for more numbers, it may well be a Neff or similar.

It’s 096355, bottom right hand corner, and yes, it’s fairly straightforward, it’s situated at the front right hand corner.

Martin’s inclusive means inc labour and VAT, ie what you would expect to pay in total.

The Tricity-Bendix will be basicall the same as a Zanussi, so not a bad machine generally.

Instead of searching for the “cheapest” why not try searching for the “best reliabilty”. Cheap appliances are not good value for money on the whole as they tend to be more unreliable so higher repair bills and a shorter life span will cost more in the long term.

Although the machine you mention isn’t actually that bad a buy to be honest.

If you go to http://www.whirlpool.co.uk there is a facility to order a hard copy, I checked and your model is not available for download there, probably due to it’s age.

    Hope that helps.

Nothing obvious, first thing to check then (you may need to moitor this) is check if the motor (compressor) is running continuously.
