None whatsoever unfortunately, the part will be specific to a few Atag models made around the same time. Most manufacturers use a plastic moulded button on their ignition switches, I’ve only ever seen the rubber type on some Neff’s and AEG’s.

No stock at MFI either, so no point looking any further for the original part.
On Agora though I did find out that it’s a 205C thermostat, manual reset.

It looks that way, but then I sell a lot of spares so quantity discounts apply I expect.

Lawrence/Debbie
The part number is listed on the MFI disk, I’ve asked if they have stock, I’ll let you know the outcome.
BTW Debbie, do you want your own user name ?

These horrecdous prices are starting to get on my tits now TBH
Electrue: £18.75 (trade)
Washvac £23.99 (trade)
GB Dar £25.62 (list price after deducting £6.50 post and VAT)How much discount do GBdar agents get please ?
I’m gonna go to town on these rip off merchants, even if it means involving the OFT.
Thanks.

its very goodI will, I just hope it’s better then the last one, which was worse than the website and that’s pretty awful IMO.

ParticipantRe: Customer buys spare part on Internet!
Yes, on a more serious note about selling on the internet, it’s refered to as distance selling and has implications regarding refunds etc.
Basically, the customer has 7 working days to change their mind, irrespective of whether the part is correct, incorrect or just because they don’t want it, they have the right to return it and recieve a full refund.
This does not apply if the part has been fitted as it then deemed as “accepted”.

ParticipantRe: Admiral spares
Independant Service (ISDAL) may have some parts as they were Maytag agents until recently, or at least they may have a good contact. 01977 665590.
There is an independant Maytag spares dealer somewhere, for the life of me I can’t remember who or where they are, no doubt someone will though.

That is truly shocking considering the many millions of site’s out there.
Equally truly comforting that the site is so popular 😀

Now I do 😆
The cash next to it is significant, those things must’ve made us all a few bob over the years 😉
