    Re: Aruki/ASPT

Yeah I had a look yesterday, not a lot of info there really. I just wondered if anyone else had been contacted by them, I think they have been doing some website scanning and sending random emails to white goods service and spares companies.

    Best ignore them πŸ˜‰

Pablo wrote:Martin / Bonz, thanks again for your help. Silly question time? Is the programmer knob that I turn the ‘module’ or is the module something else?

    It’s something else.

Pablo, as Bonz suggested, it may be worth you putting you’re postcode up here and ask for an engeineer to call out. Please don’t take this the wrong way but it is evident that you do not have much of a clue what you are looking for, and in that respect it is best left to those that do as you could well do more harm than good and cause yourself unnecessary expense.

Bob, I have checked and can’t find you’re model listed on the Merloni (who own the Scholtes name) parts cd. There are other RF2…. models. Could you recheck, if it is definitley the model you posted, it may well be that it is obsolete if it is old (+10 years).

    Regards.

Repeated door seals damaged on Candy DQ120….. It isn’t just this machine, as we sell a few parts I have seen many a customer bring their old door seal in ripped to bits as Andy describes. It appears to be across the later Candy and Hoover range.

Perhaps someone knows a GIAS engineer who may have the answer, sure as hell they won’t tell their customers if they have a known problem πŸ˜‰

Sounds like a right bunch, I’ll give them a call.

Linda, have you tried AWI ?

They list a couple of Panasonic Grill Elements here:

    http://www.awimicrowaves.com/dept.asp?id=21

I don’t know if they are the correct one’s as they don’t list the models only the voltage and wattage, may be OK for this model though hopefully.

No, I haven’t TBH, I don’t order a great deal from them anymore, they were once our biggest supplier, sadly they have fallen behind the competition as far as software and ease of ordering goes, but I will check to see if they have a long capillary stat, thanks for the reminder.

I can’t remember ever having heard of them, let alone seen them mentioned in any posts. Contact details please ?

And yes, let’s keep up the praise for the good guys here, it’s nice to see it πŸ˜€

    πŸ˜† LOL

Why all this can’t be incorporated in to one site again is quite beyond me TBH, and to get access to “Itself” is ridiculous. I was using the old site for years which had all the service manuals, technical bulletins and parts order facility etc, why the hell does someone see the need to change a system that works.

If it aint broke, don’t fix it !!

Re: De Dietrich S.Steel CX4844 Outer Main Oven Door Part No

Sally, 79X3589 is definitely the correct part number for the left hand door outer glass panel. There may be a picking or parts information error at Brandt, you will need to contact them directly or whoever supplied the glass. Brandt phone number is 01256 308000.

    Hope this helps.

Yes, driven by an egg shaped cam type thing which produces the most annoying clicking sound on spin.

    Re: Zan DWS949

It’s almost certainly the nasty dual direction circulation/drain pump motor. We have had quite a few of these with the same fault, replacing the motor worked everytime.

They do appear to be rotating ok, but whether they run too slowly or not I’m not sure TBH.

Part number 50273511001 which has changed at least five times, which is always a bit of a giveaway πŸ˜‰
