iadom was right it was the brushes , also amazingly i had the same fault this week caused by a motor plug wire coming adrift on another machine
also had a ntc bad connection fault on heater thermistor the late type the small pins were coroded ( green in fact ) i changed it to earlier spade type thermistorthanks for your input

no but i have the code book from uk white goods but it only seems to refer to the vertical lights on the facia and not the horizontal ones, but i will check out your suggestion

hi it keeps showing each different speed in turn ie 800 then 900 then 1000 etc will not stay on any , and changes quickly ie in less than a second on each speed funny thing is when i pressed the start/ pause button it stopped on 1000 and seemed to run ok i asked customer to let me know how it goes on

thanks for reply madmac funnily enough i tried that on the first conversion i could not seem to get any effect however there are three screws on these p/s maybe i just turned them in the wrong order will look at that again though

i am going to try making a mounting so i can fit the original motor and see if it cures the prob. will let you know if it works ,it may be a while before i get round to it though

yes i have changed the sump etc and re situated the pressure switch so apart from the motor eveything is the same inc. the control system

it wasnt dryer heaters assumed module faulty as tested all components customer happy to purchase ise 10 ,zanusie and other manufacturers will reap a heavy loss of sales due to their short sighted and greedy attempts to force customers to insure or replace machines by making them uneconomical repairs

my sentiments entirely will offer them a quality machineas the risk of bearing failure is high due to it being so old …… ie lg, daewoo, ise10

apparently customer complained that the clothes were dry in the middle
it seems like its not topping up as the clothes absorb water, anyhow i brought it in and will soak test it in work shop (no pun intended )
i wondered if she may have overloaded itthanks for your reply
