Re: Data about kitchen appliances lifetime

    Hi

I think you will struggle to get any quantitative information let alone historical data. we know prices here in the UK are about 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} cheaper than thirty years ago in terms of build and durability. You may be better placed to ask your uncle as the market conditions in Austria may be different to the UK 😉

The only real help I can give you is to point you in the direction of a lot of reading to be had from this link about appliances. Also there is this link for students looking for information.

    Hi K

Have proof read both the rules and the gas rules. I can find no issues in either but Jim might 😉

The Liebherr fridge freezers oh yes.

Bosch and the Miele yes but do you need the i dos on the Bosch?

Would prefer the Zanussi to the White Knight for it’s better build quality.

Your choices are looking good 🙂

The Bosch WAQ283S1 is a good all rounder 8kg 1400 spin. This machine is on offer all over at the minute as it will be replaced early summer. That aside any of the WAN or WAT models. Miele have promo warranties at the moment so a five year one could be an option.

Fridge freezer? All depends on the width available and the split of doors required.

Vented or condenser is the issue. The brands I mentioned will serve you well.

You are now at the hard work stage where you need to work out what you “want” and what you “need.” Needs should outweigh the wants 😉

Re: New Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer

    Hi

When it comes to build and durability Miele are the best they also have some of the best warranties as well. Downsides are service is restricted to their own network and the spares are expensive. Bosch and Siemens are next along with the new Whirlpool range.

For a good dryer I would go for a simple vented dryer like the Zanussi or White Knight. If it has to be condenser then it’s Whirlpool for me. If you are looking at a sensor dryer then it needs to be in the house not in an outhouse, garage or shed.

Fridge freezers? Liebherr are the best you can get, followed by Bosch, Siemens, Whirlpool and Hotpoint.

You should be able to get all four for your budget from all the above options.

    Hi John

No such model number I’m afraid but I have found a LVD7W15 if so the part number for the PCB including the housing is 17138200000141 as per attached.

I hope Connect are okay with the image 😉

Re: Vax Air Pet U87-MA-Pe spares

    Hi

That’s a current model which has a six year warranty. The spares you are after are not listed on Connect or Qualtex nor on the Vax site. All you can do is refer the customer back to Vax.

You can upload pictures via the upload attachment words just under the post review and submit buttons 😉

    Hi

If your model is the one which measures 595mm wide 1380 high and 600 mm deep with five baskets? If so then I would think the capacity would be round about 160 litres.

    Hi

Sorry there is no way a lens cover can be supplied on measurements alone.

Every spare part is make and model specific, we really do need this information in order to help. Details are normally near to the motor or on the inside side walls.

Re: Beware of this buying scam

We were “hit” with this one a couple of weeks ago exactly the same scenario. Like you we smelt a rat and contacted the card company and the courier who gave us quite a lot of info about these sorts of goings on.

Thought he was a clever sod he did when we phoned him back until we told him about the card company and that he was using a stolen card.

Ours was for four appliances retail £1400.00. Would have taken a lot of turnover to make that lot up.

Sebo are a German company who only produce floor care products they are market leaders in what they do and are the best.

They are the the only ones recommended by the British allergy foundation and are regularly used in hospitals along with their sister brand the Jeyes which have a much wider footprint.

The X1 and X4 extra with the longer hose are the ones to look at. The Felix range is a bit retro and IMO is not as robust as the X series. The five year guarantee and B or C energy rating makes them popular choices for our customers.
