Can’t find any ref to that model on Connect. STV082606696 comes up for Lec integrated fridge hinges. Otherwise it’s Lec direct I guess.

Re: appliances for a new kitchen – help and advice highly ap

    Hi

Oven for the same amount as I am seeing the Gorenje for a Bosch would be better for the money unless you are trying to achieve the country look.

If you have enough electrical capacity I would look at an induction hob, much safer to use, cheaper to run but you will need to have ferrous oxide bottomed pans.

Bosch and Neff both produce hoods which can cope with that sort of capacity, for something stylish the Neff D36E49S0GB would be a good choice.

You will probably end up compromising on something on the fridge freezer. You either go for Liebherr which will probably give you all you need but at a price or you look at Hotpoint, Gorenje and Whirlpool machines. The nearest I know of is the Hotpoint HRF3114UK.

    Hi

Looks like that link has been removed by whoever posted it or has been removed by an other.

A Google search sadly does not bring up anything new, so it looks like a lost cause.

    Hi

A read of this article explains all about oven doors and why they shatter.

    Hi Jim

Whirlpool spares and explosions are now available on the Hotpoint spares site and Partfinder disc 🙂

    Hi

I assume this is a new appliance? If this is the case it’s only a couple of months old diving in will invalidate your two year guarantee. Instead get Siemens out to investigate further. Give the engineer the whole history and go from there.

Don’t forget to have the full ENR and FD number from around the door frame to hand when you phone.

Nope, you have to return your old machine to Curry’s if you are collecting or Hotpoint will remove the old one when they deliver the new machine.

It could be, the only way of being sure is for an engineer to take a look.

    Re: samsung error code problem

    Hi

    Fault code guide says:

E1 Not filling in allocated time
This is essentially a fill timeout error which will normally mean that either the water isn’t on or that an inlet valve has failed. We do list the generic water inlet valves for Samsung washing machines in this section and, if you’re clever you can use one of those by altering the connections but, if you need the genuine one specific to your model please contact us.

So valve was first port of call so there must be another issue as to why. I would have an engineer out to have a look as I think it’s past the DIY stage.

    Hi

You just have to hope someone who has done that repair remembers what went where and posts it up. Sorry but that’s about as good as it gets I’m afraid. We do not get any service info from the manufacturers.

The only guaranteed way of getting it right is to call Bosch out 0844 892 8979 and pay the £100 odd pound.

    Hi

    That’s friends for you 😕

Sadly we cannot advise on wiring issues forum rule no 8 applies.

In this instance you need a refrigeration engineer with the correct tools and experience to do it for you. Our find an engineer function may be helpful.
