It may be that as the OP is a kitchen supplier he has a BSH Tradeplace account for appliances only. He would need to apply to BSH for a spares account to access the trade spares info.

Charliedee if you PM me your email address I’ll mail you the document Martin refers to. If you need to order the part Dave in the UKW shop will be able to supply you. Email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

kirankumarp IP address suggests he/she is posting from East India. The user has not added anything really useful to the topic.

Also the mention of “Buy home appliances online india” sets my alarm bells ringing as a possible spammer.

    Hi

Our spares shop will be able to sort that one for you. Just hit the green tab at the bottom of your screen.

I believe the letters at the beginning of your model number should be ADP.

I thought Hotpoint and Indesit dryers were produced in Bristol?

    Re: indesit repair

You need to follow the manufacturers instructions regarding use and maintenance in order to minimise any risk.

As for the what would happen scenario you would need to take this up with your insurer if anything did happen as we can’t advise on any matter regarding insurance.

    Hi

No there is not any delaying tactics going on here. There is estimated to be somewhere in the region of 600,000 affected machines currently out there. This is a massive logistical problem they have in trying to organise resources to cope with this massive undertaking.

As an aside I registered our machine early November last and like you I have not heard anything. So patience is the key here.

In the meantime do not leave the dryer running unattended ( which you should never do with any appliance anyway) make sure you clean the filter after every use and if you have a condenser model then make sure this is also cleaned after every use.

    Hi

Seems like you have a standard 50:50 split appliance. But to make sure I would ask AEG help section here for the correct advice before proceeding.

Like you all I can find is the user manual which is about as much help……………………..

Slider fitting is the most popular one so replacing it should not be a great problem.

    Re: Integrated vs Freestanding

    Hi

We have on occasion removed an integrated fridge freezer from it’s timber housing and placed a freestanding Hotpoint RFAA52P or the frost free version the FFAA52P which are the only ones that will fit.

Yes you could remove the whole housing and fit a freestanding machine, If you are not DIY minded I would employ a local tradesman to do it for you.

Or as you rightly say you could replace like for like with another integrated appliance.

    Hi

I am a fan of Bosch and Neff (same company) have two year guarantee as standard. Beko budget brand easy to repair and spares are reasonably priced. Zanussi better than Hotpoint and built better IMO and reasonably p[riced. as well.
