Eletriq is Appliances direct own brand name, seems most is of Chinese origin .
I have used these quite a few times in the last few years and found the service to be good.

ModeratorBonjour from hot and sunny Provence 🙂
New product releases are usually in the spring. I think we are at a stage where there will be no major change in tech or energy efficiency for some time to come.” New” models over the last few years have been mainly cosmetic with an odd tweak of a feature or two.
The model you are considering is a new model and is good as it gets.

ModeratorWell after a year in the planning we are off to France for six weeks from tomorrow. Going down to Nice, onto Provence, Dordogne and the Loire Valley. So a round trip really 🙂
Will “pop” in from time to time 😀

ModeratorI don’t know of any, there are a couple of black ones but that’s about it. There are a quite few silver upright ones if things can be moved around.

ModeratorFirst of all if you run a cyle every night that is double the average us of three loads per week there is no domestic machine that would cope with that use. Most manufacturers would deem it to be commercial use which guarantees do not cover. The odd engineer may turn a blind eye to the use but most won’t.
Secondly the build quality in the main of appliances has decreased since you purchased back in approx 2015. Retail prices have gone up but not as much as they should have so the build quality has decreased and corners cut to keep the price down like sealed tub units, smaller pumps and brushless motors are where some of the savings are made.
In truth there isn’t an integrated washer dryer in the mould you are looking for. The best freestanding washing machine I can come up with would be the V-Zug AW6TWHCR they have a showroom in Harrogate sales@v-zug-harrogate.co.uk 01423 227227 should you wish to contact.
Out of washer dryers which are integrated the only one currently would be the Miele as it is the best in the UK. However the usage may be an issue with them. The build and service is good but they do restrict service info and the cost of spares are higher than most other manufacturers.
If you can I would consider two seperate machines freestanding in Miele or V-Zug if budget allows. Otherwise it’s a sad case of “take your pick and hope.”
There is a raft of information here on all things washing machines which will give you a much greater idea.

ModeratorFRAM7 wrote: there is nothing with a quality explanations on the differences between the 2 fridge types
you could ask 100 engineers on here their opinion and you would different answers. There is no real answer I can give.
I always used to swear by non ffrost free (no fan) as there were less components that could potentially fail. The number of these have dwindled now to almost none as you are finding. Frost free is what is wanted by the buying public so the manufacturers will make these. I have to admit the reliabilty of frost free has vastly improved over the last ten years. Our last fridge freezer was a Beko side by side frost free. New kitchen has frost free seperate freezer and fridge. So I guess I am converted 😀
As for brands Liebherr are the best end of story. Yes they also produce for Miele who put a higher price tag on their models. I have supplied Liebherr for some years and they are by far the most reliable well made product. Like anything made by human it is open to failure just like us!!
I would go in order of preference go for Liebherr, Miele, Bosch, Zanussi, Beko, Hotpoint and then John Lewis models as they in the main produced by Zanussi.

ModeratorYou have a 70;30 split with sliding hinge system which is the second most popular fit after 50:50.
most fridge freezers will have some sort of cooling fan as that is what frost free is. There are a couple of low frost fridge freezers by Montpellier MIFf703LF and Electrolux LNT3LF18S which are classed as not being frost free. They may be worth investigating.

ModeratorI researched these thoroughly last year as we totally rebuilt our kitchen and dining area.
In the end after much conversation about brands, service arrangements, spare parts, budget and of course flexibility in use we went for a Whirlpool 90cm induction. We have now been using it for just over six months. The only real drawback is with induction is if you cook your own stir fry’s you cannot get the wok really hot like you can on gas.
Overall I would give 8 out of ten.
The other brands we considered was Bosch and Zanussi.
Bear in mind that most induction hobs are 7.5kw and up so you will need a 32A minimum supply.

ModeratorFirst things first 😉 you say 60:40 split is there an integrated already in use? If so what is the make and model number please. This will have a bearing also on hinge types either fixed or sliding.
There are very few 60:40 out there and are more expensive.

ModeratorYour thread back in October of last year here asks basically the same question. The Youtube video you refer to is the use of a multi function microwave combi where there are more buttons to press than a standard microwave. Siemens and Bosch will be the same as Neff as they are from tghe same stable.
Sharp have a one minute instant start but they only produce freestanding microwaves but they do produce a build in kit for a couple of top range machines. Panasonic are very similar as Sharp.
It just depends on how many functions you are looking for as that will impinge on how simple it will be to operate.

ModeratorJust concerned about the load sizes in this article here may be of help.
Hoover to Samsung out of the frying pan …………..
The only washer dryer out there that does what it says it will is the Miele and even they have some againsts when it comes to service and spare part prices. But they are still the best.
If that is out of budget which they are for most take a look at the Beko, Zanussi and Bosch.
Are two seperate appliances an option?
