Hi Tally
Personally I like the Bosch range of appliances, well made for the price, large grill pan, two year warranty, good back up and you should be okay for under £300.
You could get an induction hob in under a single oven 😉 you need to be sure you have enough capacity as induction are a higher kw rating.

Hi
I can answer that, I just wonder why you didn’t ask that in your original post?
Which model numbers are you wanting the KW output on?

Hi
48db is quiet for the UK, Bosch have one of the quiet machines I know of at 38db. These are for freestanding machines. Integrated quiet is 39db. Again research at http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/ is a good place to start.

Hi
Bosch,Neff and Siemens are part of the same stable all of their products are worth looking at. AEG are part of the Electrolux and Zanussi group not the quality they once were but a lot better than most.
As for oven prices, functionality, cleaning modes, slide and hide doors and door glass layers affect prices.
Take a look at the Bosch website http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/ for models on both categories then you can Google machines for prices.Research, research and research some more 😉

Hi Tally
You are going to struggle to get an induction hob over a double built under oven as there will not be enough space for air circulation which the fans need to keep the unit from overheating. Insufficient ventilation and the the hob will cut out. A good fitter may be able to get the oven low enough down to the floor by using brackets to achieve the airspace required. Hob must be installed in accordance with the manufacturers spec otherwise your guarantee may be void. An ordinary ceramic hob can be fitted above a double oven with no problems. The AEG you mention is part of the Zanussi Electrolux group of companies, not as good as they once were but very little is these days due to price erosion etc.

Hi
Sadly there is nothing available in that width and height you would need to get to 55cm wide, even then the choice isn’t great.

Hi
Freestanding washer dryers are a low volume affair, most manufacturers produce one or two so the choice is limited which is a good thing when choosing.
If budget is not the issue then the Miele is the only one which gets anywhere near to doing a good job. After that I would look at the Bosch, Aeg and Zanuusi’s, Hotpoint, Hoover and Candy’s then the rest.
To get started the supplier with the largest range to compare all on one site in the UK is AO selection here

ModeratorRe: fridgidair freezer drawers?
Hi
Everything made for appliances is model specific, attempting to adapt is a costly exercise leading to tears. Cosmetic parts on appliances are usually more expensive than functional parts as well. Not only that but Frigidaire is now no longer available which compounds the problem even further.
The model number can usually be found behind the top or bottom section on the side wall.

Hi
We deal with 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the brands currently available in the UK and I do not know of a 52cm oven I’m afraid, let alone a budget one.
If you are having a new kitchen fitted next year then the cheapest option is the repair as Martin suggested. It’s that or you have the gas pipe moved which is probably an unnecessary expense at this stage.

Hi
That’s the top of the tree for your budget. Part of the Bosch and Neff group of companies who offer good after care service through their own service network.
Good quality machine and with it’s five year warranty a snip at the price. No sealed tub either which is good should the bearings fail later in life.
I don’t think you will do any better elsewhere so I would order one before it’s too late 😉
