ModeratorYou are totally the wrong forum for this question, we deal with kitchen appliances in the main.
I have done a Google search here and there are a few forums listed which will be able to help.

ModeratorYou are quite right tubafan to a point, the promotional warranties have only ever been on selected appliances.

ModeratorThe Miele extended warranties are purely a promotional tool to increase sales, they do have a cost to Miele. Given the current economic climate I can see why the promos seem pretty weak but all manufacturers are the same at the moment.

ModeratorWe tried all sorts of repairs on these series 2 machines none of them lasted, even when we used the repair kit. We found in the main the problem was caused by the hot wash option being used all the time. Trouble is once the base warps and leaks that’s it really.
Only time will tell what the current Polyinox base machines are like.

ModeratorIf you go for Bosch or Neff avoid the ones with the Polyinox bases as they have been known to cause problems.
As Dave has said the Beko are a good budget bet.

ModeratorI think you would be better venting your frustration with the retailer. Social media is a good place to start which usually gets some results. Failing that just put it down to experience.
Out of curiosity what was it you purchased?

it is also important to get good quality induction pans as there are some junk ones out thereAs Dave has said it makes a big difference having good quality pans.
Up to about three years ago there was only AEG, Zanussi ( same group) and Hotpoint producing these. Now most of the major players are in the category A.O. link here personally I like the AEG and Hotpoints for cookers but Beko is a good option but I have not seen one of these in the flesh.
Probably more visits to local retailers and John Lewis and have a feel and play to see what’s right for you.

ModeratorI guess from the time scale they had to go back to Home Connect which is based in Germany by the looks of it. I tried to cheat and download the app, registered okay got the QR for the product from the info but it then prompts a search for the washer dryer which it couldn’t find so that was a dead end!!
Trawling through all the paperwork that is available on the product page here it appears that the app content varies by country, it does state in the user manual that ” App Programs Select additional programmes directly via the Home Connect app. A description of the programmes can be found in the Home Connect app. Note: Your appliance must be connected to your home network and registered in your Home Connect app”.
On the same product page there is an area where you can write a review or ask a question so that which hopefully will collaborate the answer you have already been given.
So not really further forward but a little wiser 😉

ModeratorThat is tight.
Indesit are about as narrow as I know of at 59.5cm wide, others tend to be 59.9 wide.
Can a little more width be gained?

ModeratorIt’s all about achieving A and then some +++ . Sadly you can’t have energy efficiency and shorter programmes.
A raft of info on this link https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/buying-advice/washing-machine on this and other topics.

ModeratorWashing machines up to about four years ago had a “whine” when spinning which was mainly due to the motors having carbon brush motors, the higher the spin the higher pitch the whine. There are quite a few machines now which have a brushless or otherwise known as an induction motor which does make them quieter on spin.
Googling helps, a trip into your local retailer and look at the noise levels on the energy labels is the best way.

ModeratorI assume this appliance is a Beko integrated dishwasher?
Don

ModeratorNo comparison between Iberna and Beko plus you will have access more readily to Beko service if needed .
If you register a Beko integrated product within 90 days of purchase you can get 10 years parts and an extra year labour which equates to 2 years parts and labour plus an extra 8 on parts.
The ” drain hose ” option is achieved by pulling a small hose up at the rear of the machine and connectiong it to a sink or drain.
