    Re: Miele W5740 or ISE 10 1607

    Hi

I don’t have any parts look up for ISE on this PC, Ken may see this and add the price 😉

As for the installation charge, in addition to to what you have listed add the removal of transit bolts, levelling of appliance, wet test, customer demonstration and the all important disposal of the old appliance. I think £50 is extremely good value for that level of service.

The Miele may work out £107 cheaper up to that point but over the lifetime the ISE will be lot cheaper as the spares are only a fraction of the cost.

The ISE will fit the bill very nicely then 🙂

    Re: Miele W5740 or ISE 10 1607

    Hi

The ISE will be far far cheaper on spares than the Miele. It will also be repaired by a local service engineer with spare parts just a quick phone call away and no restrictive practice on technical information either.

Just priced a motor for the Miele W5740 at £499 retail :eeek:

If you look at the bottom of this post you will see there are some related topics, for further info type ISE + Miele into the advanced search button towards the top right of this page.

Sadly that’s a 60cm wide and dual fuel Martin 😉

55cm wide cookers are rapidly becoming as rare as hens teeth, only the New world 55TWLG ticks all your boxes. Zanussi and Belling still produce a 55cm wide model however a phone call to them may be needed to ascertain whether or not they can be converted to LPG.

Then you have Hotpoint who say their models can be converted but they do not produce a 55cm wide model anymore. Cannon produce the Connemara which is LPG but only made in a 50cm width.

Bit of a minefield I know but it’s worth taking the time to research as much as possible in order to get it right.

Sorry about that, would a few drinks at the next meet suffice.

Thanks to Steven for the heads up on this 😀

We registered a couple of weeks ago and had our first collection this morning.

The process of registering and arranging collection is really painless and the service is excellent right down to the guys on the collection vehicle.

    Hi

For a countdown display on a machine of any quality you will need to look at the Bosch Avantixx, Exxcell and Logixx ranges. If you purchase before the 31st December from a Bosch authorised independant retailer there is a free four year warranty and energy cashback on selected models.

I would phone AEG and ask their advice on the door opening issue 08445 611 611.

    Hi Barrie

Item 41 on drum page is indeed the carbons part no. 4490382 but no. 9 is a rubber cushion.

Have a look at the two drawings and let me know which positions you are after.

The part numbers will be on the old parts if you have them 😉
