    Re: ISE10 1607W Dimensions

Miele include an overhang out past the cabinet of the machine which is 32mm (gap to wall measurement). The ISE is quoted at 585 with the door closed, I do not know if this is the total depth but I`m sure someone will tell us.

On the plumbing side you could have the waste and supply pipes resited in an adjacent base unit giving you plenty of room to install the ISE.

Just a thought, have you taken those measurements from the manual or from the aperture itself?

Integrated laundry does tend to be more shallow on the depth than freestanding as they sit just behind the line of the units to allow the fitted door to be level with the others.

    Hi Lesley

No pattern parts showing on Google I’m afraid. If that’s the cheapest you can find them for I would definately replace it.

If you need help replacing it, post up the physical size you are looking for and we’ll have a go for you.

John Lewis don’t do things by half, if they are prepared to put their name to it then it’s worth having.

Just going off topic 😉 we recently renewed our car insurance through Greenbee ( not realising at the time their connection with JLP) the benefits they offer are better than most in the market place nowadays 😀

    Hi JieBie

First off leave the Hotpoint machine well alone, they do suffer with poor reliabilty of what essentially is an Indesit machine in a skirt.

from the other two the AEG while value for money is the better deal with the extra warranty does she really need all the extra bells and whistles let alone the large digital display? Sometimes simple can be a better option 😉 and add on the five year warranty.

Manufacturers will normally keep functional spares available for the useful life of the product which these days is about eight years, cosmetic spares usually less.

    Hi

The info you have recieved is correct, mid and top end Siemens freestanding machines enjoy the full 5 year warranty while the lower end and integrated models have the standard two.

I would still go with the Siemens integrated machine. if you want peace of mind for the extra three years you can always extend the manufacturers warranty for an extra premium.

I’m looking at a Zanussi now.

    ZKI225 vs ZKI445

I noticed the ZKI445 uses that Jetsystem thing. I think I read somewhere to avoid that as it screws up. Is this true?

No worries, moved your post across 🙂

Set the comparison on those machines for you on the Zanussi website.

As for the jetsystem thingy I`m sure someone will be able to respond.

John Lewis washer dryers are usually made by Zanussi and with the extra warranty it should be a safe bet.

    Hi

The narrowest I can find is the Zanussi ZKI225 which is quoted at 555mm deep. Most come in between 575 and 585mm deep, it may be an idea to remove the old machine and have a measure if you would like to have more choice.
