    Hi adv

Where have you been getting Bosch from as there hasn`t been a manufacturers price increase for a little while now? Could be possible your suppliers sales have decreased with them which is why they have increased the prices as they may now be on a higher trade price.

DAD @ Gloucester are more than a competitive wholesaler for Bosch machines.

    Perhaps it`s time for a change 💡

The Gorenje washers are okay and they also come with a two year warranty, also available from DAD 😉 retail from about £249 to £459 ish for the black one.

    Hi

Some friends of ours have recently purchased this Britannia range I must say the doors are solid and have a nice feel to them, the control knobs are positive and the hob furniture is also a nice heavy guage. However I have not used it nor have I seen it in use, but the food we ate that was cooked on it was superb to say the least.

Pretty sure it came in under £2000 as well.

    Hi Mike

I very much doubt you will be able to get an instruction manual for it I`m afraid.

Clock timer info here in our advice and help section.

Someone else might know the answer to the control knob question 😉

Re: Neff 5 Burner Gas Hob

Cheapest 5 burner is the S25S56, it does have the flame failure device and comes in either white, black or stainless steel. I hope in due course that every gas appliance has to conform to this safety feature, which is no bad thing at all IMO.

    Hi

There is the genuine American fridge freezers like Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana which will cost at least a £1000 for a quality machine and then you get the Korean clones like Samsung, LG and Daewoo for around the £700 mark.

Our buying guide on American fridge freezers is worth reading.

    Hi Andy

Tis true you only get one shelf but you do get a full width grill / roasting pan as well.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you wish to order a second one.

    Re: AEG integrated oven options

    Hi

The B8871-5 has closed door grilling like all AEG built in ovens.

The ovens should have reasonable insulation, however the sides will become warm, you could always fit some heat shield which will help deflect the heat from the fridge freezer. Make sure the fridge freezer has adequate ventilation as per the installation instructions and you should be okay.

    Re: Built-in gas oven

    Hi

The Hotpoint 2 in one ovens hasn`t exactly caught the imagination of the public or the retailers TBH. Everytime someone brings out a product that does two things I cringe, like washer dryers and LCD TV`s with built in DVD player. You have two clock timers an insulating divider to convert the one oven into two which makes “two” cavities of which the smaller is a mere 23 litres ( smaller than the small one a double oven.

Then best combo Is is a standard single oven with an integrated combination microwave over, we went for this option ourselves a couple of years ago and had no regrets.

I would personally go with the Sharp combi micro range. The R86STMA, R959SLMA and the R98STMAA all have build in kits available as optional extras for around £99 INC VAT.

    thanks

I must be a little stupid this morning :rolls: 😆 but I can`t really make sense of the second point.

Could it be that you are planning on 2 single ovens side by side and then an integrated fridge freezer to the right?

Could the last word in your post be oven instead of over ❓ It would make sense then if that was the case.
