On everyday cotton mixes probably no as long as you don`t overload the machine.

Not a lot to choose from nowadays TBH go for a brand you are familiar with like Hotpoint, Bosch, Electrolux or Whirlpool.

ModeratorRe: Bought An LG. Should I Return It?
Hi
The ISE will outlast the LG by a long way, they are extremely well built and backed up by a ten year warranty which makes it a good investment. You can access the machine to purchase from this link

If you need a higher spin for heavier fabrics then there is the Bosch WAE28364 same range and spec as the 24364.
You could try for one of the Zanussi machines but my money would go on and has gone on a Bosch 😀

Old model now discontinued so you may not get one which is probably why it`s priced to clear.

I would go with the ZWF14380 1400 spin machine or the Bosch WAE24364GB.

The widest under counter width is 60cm.

By local are you referring to the big C`s if so I`m not surprised, try an independant retailer 😉
The Gorenje range is worth a look as are the Zanussi`s.

Hi
Bosch WAE series is much better than the WAA ones and no sealed drum either 😉 The Gorenje`s arn`t a bad buy either, they also come with a two year warranty the same as Bosch, your local independant retailer should be able to to offer the best advice.

ModeratorRe: New model of Bosch Countertop dishwasher
Hi
I have not personally seen any of the new models yet, tabletop machines are to low a volume to warrant keeping them in stock. The SKT5102 is now discontinued by Bosch and they have no stock left. You may still be lucky if someone has one left in stock.
Not a lot of help I know 😉 it may well be the case of taking a peek at one in a local shop.

Hi TN
The minimum width currently available is 50cm, Whirlpool used to produce a 46cm but I havn`t seen any around for a while. No such thing as a bespoke fridge manufacturer either I`m afraid. The only thing I can suggest would be to put the biggest 60cm width larder fridge you can find into the space unless you can gain an extra 13cm to be able to install two 50`s side by side and then reverse the door opening on one of them.

ModeratorRe: New Fitted Kitchen…Which Appliances?
Hi Gaz
I would recommend the Siemens appliances everytime, extremely good quality, two year warranty and stylish in looks.
When it comes to cooker hoods they do need to be functional as well as looking good this article explains all you need to know to be able to make an informed choice.
Steer the other half away from the Samsung if you can 😉 you could always show her some of the threads in the refrigeration forum 😉 then ask her to read this article from the buying advice section.
Hmm Electrolux dishwasher and integrated washer, any particular models you had in mind as there may be other options?
