Hi
It should include the disposal of the old appliance, just mention it to the installer.

It does sound like it HWL as the spec on the Hetty is exactly the same as the Henry in performance. Could be that the bag is overfull or the filter/ hose is blocked or as you say it`s just on the lower suction setting.

Hi lpop
Miele, Siemens and Bosch are around the best without a doubt. If you don`t want to spend a fortune then discount the Miele as you will not get a new machine for under £500.
Siemens machines on the other hand do come in around that budget and will come with a five year warranty if purchased from an authorised dealer, which could be an important factor with the sort of usage you are anticipating. Bosch which is part of the same group as Siemens are the next step down and come with a two year warranty. They are great machines and will start around the £350 mark, very well made and extremely easy to use.
Another way of loking at the scenario is the to perhaps conside the ISE10 autowsher with a full 10-year warranty it is a machine designed by some of the engineers on this site who were dissolusioned with the quality and costly price of spares of machines along with national call centres. There is lots more info about the brand and the ethos on the website http://www.iseappliances.co.uk/ if you can stretch to the budget the machine is built to more than cope with the anticipated use.

Also, where’s the best place to buy a washing machine from? Any advice as to where I can get the best deals and whether the comet clearance store is worth considering? Thanks in advance!
Your local independant retailer is the best place to purchase from as they will give the best advice and service. You will pay a higher price but you will recieve a first class service back up.
IIRC the Comet clearance site was set up to resell damaged / faulty and returned stock it should still come with a warranty.

Hi subs
Some of it is Whirlpool made, the search link will help. If you type Firenzi AND oven into the search bar there is quite a lot more info to be had.

Hi reaper
I would recheck the ENR number, as I suspect you may have misread the “A” in the middle. Possible matches would be the SGS46E28GB/01, SGS46E26GB/01 and the SGS46E22GB/01.

Hi
If you open the door the ENR number is normally just left of centre stamped into the metal part of the door along the top edge.

Hi
Sorry you have not had a reply to your question as yet, but you have to remember that the engineers who answer the many questions day in and day out do not login to the site everyday, they do have their own paying customers to look after first, after all the bils do need to be paid 😉 any help they give on here is given for free and in their own time contrary to popular belief.
Not only that but not all engineers cover every make so you will need to keep popping back from time to time over the next few days to see if you get any responses. There are quite a few engineers that cover the BSH group of appliances, I am sure one of them will be able to help.

ModeratorRe: Which range to stock?
Hi gandh1
As this appliance is going to have your most expensive square footage right by the door there are several factors to consider IMO in getting it right.
If you have lots of walking traffic going past on a daily basis you may want to have a “statement ” machine like a stainless steel range.
If on the other hand you rely on customers coming through your door due to your advertising then you may want to play safe in your choice.
The other area to consider is the age range of your customers, older generations will normally go for a traditional machine as opposed to the thirty somethings who will probably be looking for stainless steel and a talking point.
I would probably go for a Rangemaster as they cover so many styles, colours and sizes. Dual fuel would be my fuel choice.
Decisions decisions…..

ModeratorRe: Scandinova Successor?
Hi Brian
To replace the old, quality made Scandinova you will need to look at the premium refrigeration brands like Bosch, Liebherr and Miele to get anywhere near the same build.
All three have comprehensive websites however they don`t give the door split measurements, so you are going to have to do a bit of pavement bashing armed with your trusty tape measure I`m afraid.
In the meantime a good read here should get you started.
