Hopefully this round of increases will eventually see some value come back into the industry after all the years of price erosion we have experienced, we can but hope :rolls:

But, look at any new stock coming in (if anyone has any) and see just how much the prices have jumped.

And, I don’t think we’re done yet on that front.

Joe public are in for one hell of a big shock come Feb 1st as some prices are going up massively. Trouble is when you advance warn your customers all they say is “I thought we are in a crdit crunch / recession so prices must come down” 😯 I don`t think they have heard about the Euro yet, but come their summer hols they will noticed it`s value or lack of it 😈

    Hi

Ignis is indeed owned by Whirlpool group, the service is on a local level with a national call centre number. As for the Ignis dishwasher, although it is better than some of the other cheap units out there, don`t expect it to last forever 😉 cos it won`t.

    Hi Jim

Just checked some stock here and yes they do include a two year registration card, so I guess you are missing one.

I know this does not suit all customers but it can be registered on the Bosch website , or the customers nice installer may do it for them 😆

    Hi brimble

Generally speaking the Neff products are among the best in their price range. They come from the same stable as Bosch but do have a slightly better spec and are cheaper too. I posted this earlier today which may help

I would go for a ceramic hob rather than halogen, there is very little difference when it comes to reaction speed and yes the pots are more expensive.

When we refitted our kitchen just over a year ago we went for a Neff T1323 as it was frameless ( no little dirt edging to keep cleaning) touch control (again much easier to keep clean) and it also looks good. The touch controls are easy to use and the child lock is useful when the grandkids are around 😉

Is the microwave to freestanding or built in and what sort of design hood are you after, the Neff site may be invaluable here as well 😉 .

As for American fridge freezers there is loads of info and discussions in the refrigeration forum and while you are reading this site thisarticle in our buying guide may help.

    Hi

We gave one as a housewarming present to our daughter, this was after we trawled through all the sheds and all the independants in our area knob twiddling and door banging :rolls: . It`s well made compared to a lot of the others out there, the ovens are spacious and easy to clean, controls run freely and with four colour options available I don`t believe you can better it in it`s price range.

    Hi Steve

Partfinder says it`s a slide rail system, there should be an installation sheet in with the instructions along with all the fixings required.

They are indeed from the same stable as Admiral.

This thread started by raceboy on American fridge freezers is well worth a read 😉

Within that thread, this post may be the one which helps you decide 😉

Apparently they’re all being changed over to the Italian Whirlpool ones Don. 😕
