ModeratorRe: Decor panel fridge – is Liebherr KUw1740 only one?
Hi Phil
There are no decor panel built under fridges I`m afraid, this is about the best deal I have come across after a quick search. Which for a built in fridge is par for the course for what is an extremely good quality product which will outlast a lot of the other brands.
Another option would be to take one of your kitchen doors around the kitchen suppliers and see if you can find a close match and then you could then replace with an “integrated” fridge of which the choice is far greater as is the budget as well.

Hi
There is no such kit I`m afraid, the other problem you have is that you have a heat source and a cold source above each other which creates a problem in the running of the freezer especially.
The only way I can think of would be to, have the freezer at floor level, mount a shelf on the wall with a thin piece of tin / metal on it to deflect any heat away from the freezer. If the dryer is a vented one you will also need to keep the hose away from the freezer as well.
To stop the dryer being pulled off the shelf, you could make up two straight metal strips say 6″ long with a hole drilled through each end, screw one end into the worktop lid and the other into the garage wall. A bit Heath Robinson I know 😉 but it may get you out of a fix.

Hi Andy
You are going to have to pay a pretty penny tho as the majority are C rated.
In alphabetical order cos that`s how my book goes 😉
AEG 58840 B rated or there is an A rated machine the T59840 one year guarantee in whiteBosch B rated WTS84516GB in white or WTS8650Gb in black, 2 years warranty
Gorenje D72325 B in white rated 2 years also
Siemens WT46E389GB and the WT46S590GB or in black WT46S59BUK 5 year warranty and B rated.
Whirlpool AWZ8577 or the AWZ8578 in white B rated normal one year.
Zanussi ZDC67550W in white again normal one year.
As you can see no such beast in silver.
In silver you can get only C ratedBosch WTE8430SGB

The choice is yours or your customers 😉

ModeratorRe: which single oven, hob, hood & microwave grill to bu
Hi brimble
I`ve no problems at all with Neff products, they are all through our new kitchen and utility room 😉
The T1322 hob is now discontinued, nothing wrong with that as long as the supplier still has stock.
B1422 single oven has a couple more otions ie half width grill and the aquacleanse cycle, if you don`t need these then go for the B1322, it`s slightly cheaper too.
H5474 microwave is a fully built in unit, not cheap either.
S54E53 is a good built in dishwasher, it`s far and away our best selling integrated dishwasher.
Like you say a cheap hood? The Baumatic will do a “job” but how long will it last? I`ll just consult my piece of string 😆
Either of the single ovens will run on a 13A socket so your`e okay there.
I don`t know if you can purchase all of this within the budget or not? If you can`t and you have to compromise the only area would be the microwave. Sharp produce some build in options here Panasonic used to but I can`t find anything on their website I know you wouldn`t have a match but if it`s the difference of coming in or near to the budget then it`s probably worth considering.
If you are going for stainless steel then you will definately need some of this Chromol 500ml stainless steel cleaner I have had superb results with it and it lasts really well.

Hi Morsey
The John Lewis branded stock in the main is produced by the Electrolux / Zanussi group so it should be okay. To be on the safe side the 5 year warranty is a good bet at £31 for peace of mind.

For that sort of domestic use we would reccommend you have one of these ISE10 1600 spin AAA rated with a full 10-year warranty available here they are built like no other domestic machine I know of. Sure it is not a budget machine, but with the anticipated use it`s cheaper in the long run. Or you can purchase a £250 odd machine every two to three years. Then add either of these tumble dryers 😉 ISE 10 Condenser tumble dryer 6KG load C rated with a full ten-year warranty or
ISE DV60W Vented dryer with a ten-year warranty

Hi
No one produces a fridge freezer with a larger freezer nowadays. Best way as you say is seperate units is the only way to achieve increased freezer storage.

Trouble is Ian not everyone can normally afford to buy a quality product like that, let alone in these troubled uncertain times.
Consumers are pulling their belts in tight right now, not knowing how safe their job is either.
