    Re: miele or neff?

    Hi Garryl

The Neff appliances are some of the best around and for a reasonable price in the integrated world, service is nationwide and the two year standard warranty is a good plus.

The Miele on the other hand is an even better appliance and as you say you like the extra features. Miele also has the standard two year warranty as well.

Miele do like to have the service side all for themselves though and the spare prices are much higher than the Neff.

If you are going to purchase this sort of ticket price machine you would do well to make your purchase before the end of the month as January sees virtually all manufacturers price increases on all products due to the wekening of the pound against the dollar and the Euro.

    Hi quinn

I must admit to not knowing a lot about the steam wahers apart from the odd trade article, I have never even been asked for one either.

That apart £600 is an extremely good sized budget. The Miele range will always be at the top of most peoples list as the brand to go for. The Prestige W1613 will come into your price range, it will have a two year warranty at the moment ( but may change in January to 5 years ) however as previously reported on this site you are locked into Miele providing the spares which are very highly priced compared to some of the others out there.

Another way would be the ISE concept you have the ISE5 1600 spin AAA rated with a full five-year warranty and the ISE10 1600 spin AAA rated with a full 10-year warranty available here

Partfinder shows the half grill element but no part number, which is probably 6224543 along with the solarplus version as well.

I would love to see one. Perhaps he should be invited to the February meeting to demonstrate the machine or book a stand at the “trade show”.

    Hi Fase

In the sub £250 bracket the Tricity AW1202W is a good work horse unit with no frills and spills. We sell quite a few with very little trouble.

    Hi Phil

That makes sense about the worktop depths, I guess they do it to cover themselves :rolls:

The trouble with ordering online is that they are only only order “pushers” . Which is where the independant retailer really comes into it`s own, granted you may pay more beans but at the end of the day you can`t put a price on good service and advice.

Good luck with the install I`m sure your son will reward you well 😀

    Hi Gary

The price is a standard one hence the link, I`m pretty sure they are in stock and available for delivery. If you contact ISE on either one of these Telephone: 0845 226 1268 Fax: 0845 226 2508 or Email: enquiries@iseappliances.co.uk. Give them your postcode someone will get back to you pretty prompt with an ETA.

As long as it`s dry and secure then I se no problems at all.
