should not be a problem in any way, will have a seperate panel to access the motor, even the back does not have to come off.

common fault, usually gives an E8 error. Not sure of your model number there. You did change the valve, right?

the clue is in the soap dispenser, if it has the vent inside the door then its the early version, if the vent is from the side panel via the coiled tube then its the later version, the heater changed at the same time. Ask your customer to see if there is a round vent on the right hand side panel inside the dishwasher, if so its the later version.
Would persue Jims idea of getting the bosch model number from the top of the door, as the heater will be far cheaper from Bosch.

any water inside (blocked, unable to dain the short fills at start up) or leaked into the drip tray? Check for any earth leakage on the circ pump or even pull the plug on the circ pump and see what happens. otherwise suspect PCB problem.

Have a few of these in a development nearby and for a dead machine they have always needed both modules, power and display. Tried just display on one with no luck. I think the users leave them powered up 24/7 which may be the problem.

check for leaks in the base, a slightly earthed circ pump can show this fault.

I think I got it, If I click on the screen after posting to “view my submitted message” the position of the curser is above washdoctors name on the list of moderators. Its best no to click as the submitted meassage appears anyway.
