ParticipantRe: Costs to become Corgi Registered????
I was corgi reg for ten years and if I doubt if the revenue from the work I did covered the cost of the fees and my time and lost working days to attend courses etc and although I could get back into gas I would not consider it.
Too many hoops to jump through etc.etc.
I did write to CORGI to “resign” and stated my reasons for doing so but they did not reply.
If regulations were relaxed then I might give it another go but for a new starter it would be a steep hill to climb.Steve

ParticipantRe: will i wont i???
Hi Kevin.
Business was a bit slow for me too and when a firm I did a bit of sub contracting for asked me to come on board full time I took the job and now three months on I wish I’d done it years ago.
As there is no conflict of interest I still do some white goods work in my own time but I can afford to be a bit choosey 😉
They will start recruiting in Scotland in the coming weeks for an engineer in your area and although it is not white goods or domestic the experience you have should get you an interview.
Drop me a pm if you are interested and I will give you the contact details

ParticipantRe: BSH Changes
It would seem that what appears on my screen is the left hand side of the web page and nothing I do can get the whole page.
Every other web site is fine except this one.
Phoned BSH but they couldn’t help.
Any suggestions :haier: :haier: :haier:Steve
