Re: Admiral GC2224GEKW Overload Relay/Capacitor Question.

Hello Paul, most times a seemingly defective starting device is indicative of a faulty compressor.
You’ve obviously changed the starter and so it looks like the compressor is at fault and that the starter was not the root cause of your problem, but merely a symptom.
Fitting a compressor to your fridge is a costly job, but in my opinion worthwhile, given the fact that it is a quality appliance.

probably not, hopefully just a blocked evaporator drain hole.

The relay/overload just pulls off the terminal pins on the compressor.
Refitting should just be a reversal of this.

We have the lg clamp band tools too Steve if you ever need to borrow.
Also, the suspension leg pin pliers, which are very useful.

    Cheers.

Done a few snubber changes and never used the spring tool. Elbow grease yes, tool no!

If you see plastic shavings or dust around the base that confirms it.

Re: admiral AAV 2200AGW motor loose

It’s probably the snubber at fault.
The belt will appear loose when the motor isn’t running.
The snubber is the plastic disc located at the bottom of the cabinet, just above the drive pulley wheel. Fairly easy repair, involves taking out the drum and turning it upside down.
Just be careful with the screws holding the snubber in place, they’re pressurised. Loosen them just enough to be able to slide the snubber out.

The last two managers have 25 games in charge of the club between them. Madness indeed Jim.

    Jim will be happy tonight.
A 3-0 home win v Hartlepool is just what was needed. No yellow cards in the game either. That has to be a rarity nowadays.

Shame about the result today, rovers scored on 95 mins. Apparently Dunn was two yards offside when he scored too. The tide is turning though and the gap has narrowed between the two clubs.
The damage caused at ewood park just serves to highlight my moronic element comment above.
This is not about football, these are thugs that use football as the medium to conduct their mindless wrong doings.

I’m not going today Jim. It’s a bit of a circus really, with all the security arrangements because of the moronic element.
Kick off is at 12.30, supporters have to be at turf moor to leave at 9.30 on arranged travel.
Burnley fans are desperate for a win, it’s been 34 years since we last beat them.
Both teams are not in the best form though, so I don’t think it will be a classic.
    We’ll see.
Meanwhile, the reds seem to be winning it at a canter. Great to see after last year.
