Moderatora lot of posts on google it says its a flow E04 is a flow sensor problem
since the motor is also a sensor its an option
try a cycle your out of the box fix might just work
to see the impellor i use a small round mirror and a bright led torch
all it would take is a piece of plastic to change the electrical current when its rinning to make the module think its low on water. if its low on water it wont turn on the heater
after that its change parts time but which one thats the problem.

Moderatorfirst thing i would do is check the pump impellor for debris
take out filter , dry out water, remove the plastic piece on the pump inlet ( half moon shape)
you can then use a small mirror and a torch and look at the impellorDave

Moderatorthe drain hole will be at the bottom not the top
also check the door is closing properly as a dud deal introduces moisture

Moderatorthe water is always conensation and normally it goes down the tube onto a tray on top of the compressor and eveporates
when you defrost make sure that tube is clear

Moderatoron these machines the pump is used as a sensor to detect water. if the pump gives the wrong reading then the heater will not be turned on
first thing i would do is check for debris in the pump. if it has some it wont be much as it works every now and then
also check and clean the central filter. take filter and strainer out and check it

Moderatorunpug the 2 white connectors
plug it in and if it trip its not the heater
if it does not trip then the heater is where you look next
Dave
electrofix
Moderatorall the black box is is a connector and unless its burnt its not faulty
suppressor is inside the steel box
had one the other day and it was the heater causing the problem
disconnect the white connectors in your pic and try it
it wont heat but if it doesnt trip it could be the heater. if heater gets wet it will cause same problem
