Moderatorwhatever the fault is, and i suspect it may be the ignition module, As Kai said it can only be repaired by a gas safe enginneer as the hob would have to be removed from the gas supply
also you say that one ring is clicking but normally ignition units spark all the rings at the same time. it would be unusual to have seperate spark generators
I cant check as Bosch spares site does not seem to work at the moment

Moderatorsince over the years small earth leaks on elements cause all sorts of faults have you tried disconnecting elements to see what happens ?

Moderatorwell you can forget that it will be a sealed drum assembly and cannot be taken apart
and a little bit of play in the drum might make a noise but it wont make it bounce

Moderatorits in the documents along with the model along with part diagrams etc
you will need the long serial no and it takes a bit of trial and error to enter that to find thew correct model

I see that throws a spanner in it
problem we have as always is we dont know the cause
think as a start you could swop the pressure sw as they are less than £20

Moderatorservice manuals for these on Aswo
Dave

Moderatorpossibly not
pictures on Qualtex and connect show 120 on the side whereas Aswo spring shows 112
also the spring on the gen one looks like its stretched more
Qualtex list them as well and have stock and are slighly cheaper

Moderatorproblem is if it does not cure it
if its only a couple of years old suggest customer claims on part guarentee which will be cheaper if the board has gone as the board is about the same as Hotpoints labour charge. Board may just need a re – programme which we cant do without spending out on gear we wont use often
Daveelectrofix
Moderatordont think pressure system as no error codes
wiring maybe but still no error
earth faults is another long shot maybe
and if its the board unless you can programme boards its a hotpoint job

Moderatorwith a short programme and if its just trickling out it may not have time to refill if water drops
was thinking the short programme might be less load but just checked and its a full load programme
if it was the pressure sw problem i would expect the load water to get higher and higher throughout the wash so is the water load overfilling on the faulty programmes ?
Dave

Moderatoryou could try taking it out and looking at the bearings add a bit of light oil etc
other than that they are £69.22 from Neff
