    Re: Trade Secrets?

as your post is on a closed forum meant to help fellow members of the trade I can understand your upset to find this information passed on for public consumption.
information like this is valuable but only if the customer rings an engineer to look at the fault in the first place. from what I can see the customers perception of a good life expectancy has reduced over the last 10 years to the point now where if its over 4 years old the dump it and buy new instead of getting it repaired
since it must be a member of this forum who passed this info on he must be made to understand that passing on clear your filter faults and the like is ok. beyond that the advise should be “its fixable but you need professional help”

think this is the one you can do a software reset

    from memory

timer knob to 6 o clock position
press and hold spin speed button
turn timer knob 1 postion clockwise
    let go spin button
    turn off and try again

    may help

have done a job for golocal in feb

still making phone calls to get paid luckily only labour no parts used
keep getting promises to ring back but never does

since he cant run a business without the help of first class engineers his days are numbered. He has pi***d off enough of them as this thread is testament to. so he will be left with the dregs that cant do the job properly

hope he is still following this thread

    Re: w/pool ADG644 ix

bit of a long shot considering the comical nature of the description
with ref to the donk donk noise is it the inlet valve ?

i would tend to look at the programmer. If the power supply is a 1 or 1.5uf capacitor I would change that and see what happens
fault works like this machine turns on you select progamme and start ( power to board is low but just enough to power up ) as machine starts to fill the power needed in the board increases so the power supply cant handle it so board has not got power to maintain valve so turns it off (donk). when valve is off power rises so board turns it back on so it repeats
if power supply to board is switch mode then this may still apply but its not as easily fixable

    hope it helps
