Re: Bosch washer not heating- PCB?

had a bosch dishwasher before christmas where the heater relay had failed to check you have to run the machine with the pcb exposed and check for dc voltage on the relay coil

have you checked the filter recently ?

and when you have filter out look inside to see if there is a hairclip or anything stoping the pump

    Re: Bosch wvd2452sgb/03 pcb Fault?

it is very difficult to diagnose a fault like this without inspecting the machine

i would suspect the door lock has blown the board and this can only be confirmed by looking at the triac that controls this and doing electrical tests on it

this machine should be a hoover/candy in disguise should not be a problem
check pump first for blockages elastic bands etc

    from the website

    http://martinjetpack.com/faqs.aspx

does not give you a lot of flying time

“Flies for a reasonable amount of time (30 minutes) at a reasonable speed (up to 100 kph) “

for those emergency repairs when the machine floods the kitchen
call out charge £2000 might be a bit steep so will give it a miss

    lol

    Dave

p.s. are you allowed to land it in a petrol station for refueling ?

    p.p.s

its not a jet engine its a 2 stoke engine

    “Martin Aircraft 2.0 L V4 2 stroke, rated at 200 hp (150 kw). Max 6000 rpm”

Re: Asko W90 (aka 10504) only spins

    dont know this machine but
from what you describe it sounds like the motor is going into spin speed and the machine detects the fault and shuts down

    could be

    1 motor short to earth
2 motor tacho magnet loose or broken also poss tacho coils open circuit
3 main printed circuit board triac short circuit

you may need the help of a professional

    Re: zanussi ZJ1217 bearing prob

when you say lateral i assume you mean up vand down not forwards and back

if you have that kind of movement something has worn
its either the bearing housing or the drum shaft not much else it can be
dont forget 2mm movement at the bearings will give you 10mm at the front

Re: Heater PCB relays: which ones do you use?

as with most components it depends on what is fitted to the board
get some relays from RS but have to get others from Farnell
