    Re: Miele w460

rinse light flashing is just a fault code indication

if motor jumps instantly into spin
    check for
A short circuit to earth motor circuit if house has rcd will trip if no rcd and motor is neutral switched then can cause this fault
B check motor triac on pcb for short circuit

    Re: Miele w460

    no point guessing

    check tacho
check for broken wires in motor harness
find connection on pcb from motor and check its on tight

only then can you start looking at the pcb

    Re: Electric Motor Re-conditioners

have you tried taking out motor and dropping a bit of light oil on the bearings ( like 3 in 1 but dont use too much) this will soak into bearing and quieten things down

hold motor vertical, clean bearing cover ,drip in oil , spin motor to work in. invert motor remove tacho if in the way and repeat process

done this many times and it works a treat. As long as you tell customer what you are doing and if noise returns it will cost more

    Re: Siemens WTXL720CGB/01 won’t start

you say it switches off ?

long shot check what sort of power supply they use on the board. if its a series capacitor then when motor relays kick in the board power supply might fail causing board to crash

also i would measure voltages on board motor relays to see if the board is trying to turn then on. Relays on board fail quite a lot and it not unusual to put 8 volts or so on a 12v relay. when its new it works but as with any mechanical device it wears and fails with age

hope it helps more than my previous entry

    Re: AWCT12 module.

D5 looks like part of the power supply on the board but if a diode blows there has to be a good reason as they are pretty hardy
I would take 1 leg of the diode out and test again you may be getting the short through other components

    Dave

ps i am looking at the awct10 board and assuming its the same

    Re: AWCT12 module.

if the module is the same as AWCT10 but different software then have had the 2.2uf capacitor go down making module loose power

    common fault is
    turn on machine ok
programme machine and start prog ok
    machine fills then stops

Re: Bosch SGV53E03GB constant pumping / flooded pan

if its flooded again there is a leak
could be failed parts, loose hoses etc but you will have to run it with the covers off to find it

if this stat keeps tripping it usually means tyhe fryer is getting too hot
have you cleaned the condensor ?

if that fails there are 2 temp sensors one on the heater and the other one at the front of the dryer dont know which is more likely but i would change the heater one first
