Moderatorare you sure the condenser is clear and air can flow through it
had a samsung unit the other week which looked clean but had caked lint inside the fins stopping air flow

Moderatoryou say fuse blew but you actually mean it tripped
there are 2 kinds of trips
one measures earth faults and you can turn that on and try it as often as you like as it does not go bang
the other measures current overload and that can cause damagewhat i am after is what blew ?

Moderatorwell unless there is an earth fault then it could be a faulty triac on the board

Mine wouldn’t even turn to begin to start to get level (i had to use an electric screwdriver to get them to turn – couldn’t do it by hand). They kept on slipping. But, the inside of the machine showed it leaning to the back – a lot.
if you tilt the machine forward to take the weight off the rear legs they move a lot easier
and using an electric screwdriver is a recipe for stripped screws

*I don’t suppose you live in Devon? I would trust you to fit it properly.
no unfortunately Liverpool
you can adjust the springs on the door as some outer doors are heavier than others
back legs … i always find the best way to adjust is to tilt unit forward to take the weight off them. The way the system works is the legs have to turn and that much harder with the weight on. So raise front legs then open door and let the unit hinge on front legs lifting back legs up so you can adjust. Never force them

Moderatorwell it cant be overfilling
check the holes in the bars for blockages and give door seal a good clean including under the bottom of the door inside and see where you go from there

Moderatormmsj496 wrote:Our 10 year old Lamona hob is cracked and needs replacing. We can still get the same model, but would prefer another better quality brand. Cutout is 560×490 and it is fitted in the counter top above a Lamona oven. Would another brand fit?
Lamona is often Beko and there are a lot worse so be careful

Moderatorso i assume the engineer did not find the fault
also you can take the lid off and see if you can determine where the noise is coming from. it is weird as its the sort of sound a dryer makes when the belt idler pulley fails

Moderatorunplug dishwasher
remove pipe from level switchopen door and put about a pint of water in the unit
then put your mouth on the pipe you have taken off the level switch and blow. you should hear bubbles inside the machine. If you can blow through the tube but cant hear bubbles add a bit more water . then suck a little of the water up the tube and blow it back out again. by doing this you trying to clear the pressure chamber of debris
then mop the water out before replacing the level switch tube and try it

Moderatorby the look of it you can change the display brightness on the oven
not sure if it will change things but worth a try
cant see any similar settings on microwave or cant see any way of disabling the dimming feature
they could cure this with a firmware update if they wanted
