tested had 300v one side of the chip and 0v out

Moderatoras a thought on the above problem. I know its from 2022 but
the answer is to disconnect the applance from your home network
all things connected to your nework have an address called a mac number. you can access you house routers menu,s and ban this mac no which will stop this problem all together
there will be utube videos on how to do this somewhere most likely
on a virgin router you just put http://192.168.0.1/ in the address bar then put in the password from the router ( on the router base)
other routers are the same or similar

Moderatorwell we start getting into possibles now
my next guess is the wash pump. they are not cheap athough not massively expensive. problem lies in we wont know till we try one and that way of fault finding can get expensive and still fail
not sure if you have removed and checked the wash pump. you can check the pump for blockages and wear in the motor shaft. (see if it moves side to side )
the motor as a lot of dishwashers these days use the motor as a sensor. they sense motor current to determine fill level. A similar thing happens with the drain pump where motor current is used to determine if the unit is empty
