Moderatorwell if its scrap now you have nothing to lose by trying
as long as the glue will stand the heat and all is clean and dry ( unless ct1 will go on damp surfaces) should be ok

Moderatorlook for signs of leaks where the stainless wrapper meets the plastic base. get a lot of leaks from the joint. Bosch started using a plastic base to keep costs down and its causes problems over the years as the plastic loses tension and it starts to leak

Moderatorok try this
tilt the machine back slowly till it reaches about 45 degrees
what i am hoping is its the anti flood switch and there is water in the base. do it slowly as you dont want the water sloshing about all over things that matter
if you get a puddle on the floor your on the right track
if yes 2 possibilities
1 its having a bad day and wont do it again for a while
2 there is a leak which would have to be found to stop it re-occurring

Moderatorok the fact that the water light is flashing means its not a water problem
the problem on this machine is it could be anything as this unit does not have fault codes for everthing
assume its making no noises when the light flashes as it just aborts the programme

Moderatorwell hope things are changing as that policy did not seem to make sense. I still love qualtex and they are often cheaper, but with Aswo and now Connect is part of Screwfix I assume they may be getting squeezed. Some of their prices were getting a bit high but fair play to them, once i contacted them, this was adjusted
I still like qualtex as its the only one showing correct part numbers The little box on each parts page can be used for personal notes, retail prices or stock locations. I find this invaluable and dont know why they dont expand this as a sevice to promote loyaltyDave
