Moderatorget a felt pen and put a very small dot on the board. small enough to be missed by them
take a dated photo of it and then send it back. that way you will know if its the same one

hotpoint is not what it was and Beko has just purchased 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the brand. Problem with all these appliances is people demand cheap not quality. If you want good quality refrigeration look at Liebherr

Moderatordoes sound like the new board has some sort of fault
I would contact hotpoint. you have to stress the old board still give some functions but the new board wont. that should tell them that the fault does not lie elsewhere in the fridge
as far as the bleeping goes if you stick tape across the hole in the sounder thing get a lot quieter

Moderatorbut the code means the heat exchanger coil is open circuit or its a faulty board
have you checked it ?
you could see if you can attach another coil so the board can see it and see if the code goes

Moderatoryou cant have an element of zero ohms that would cause the fuse to go in the plug and probably damage the pcb
you must be on the wrong scale. It will read under 100 ohms

Moderatorwell its not easy removing a hoover drum
you have to remove and replace the drum with the belt on the motor as you cant fit it after. once you release the drum rear it will drop just enough to take the tension off the belt to remove it but you may have to slip it off the idler pulleys
horrible designDave
