ParticipantI use the faithful vauxhall combo bought second hand from dealer with a warranty and head gasket goes within warranty. As fuel consumption goes 50 mile to a gallon on diesel not bad compared with belingos and kangeroos…..espicially as the combo is 7 years old and has done 126K…..the next will be the combo with side door.

ParticipantThe printed circuit board has been modified.
When an engineer is called via mfi the pcb has been requested to be returned due to problems which happens at the age of yours.
Very rarly will you have a compressor failure on your age but the new ones are different with everyone being a compressor.

ParticipantI think the best one was when i went to fit a new cooker.
You think ah cooker switch so you turn it off.
As you had to be a stick insect to get around back of cooker i decide pliers cut the 6mm cable and with that an almighty bang i even managed to blown electricity board fuse. Then found out oap diy installer had wired it in to a unfused spur not the cooker outlet so it was wired into ring main.
Now I check dead is dead.

Participantcould be pcb or compressor.
turn both knobs onto off position and turn off at wall.
count to 10 then turn on at wall and then turn both knobs on.
If it comes on see how it goes if not put your details into repair@ for an engineer finder.

ParticipantBecause trheir chinese crap….
It seems that either the dooe seal is wrongly made or the liner is at fault.
My way of stopping it is putting half a tube of silicon sealant in the gully that the seal fits into push the seal into it.
And pray if it comes back a new door and seal will be required.
I have not had any come back yet not even the showroom model in currys i did it to.
