thanks guys if the person goes for the repair the pcb does not need any setting up. and does it come in the white case i would say that the board should be handled as little as possible. fasetester.

thanks again dave and chris for all your help. is the model number enought for ordering the parts the pcb and how much is the pressure switch. the only pressure sw i can see on servast is the round pressure switch what is the one like that goes in the sump what is QER like for repairing pcb fasetester

i was talking to the woman today. and told her to put it throught the glass wash program. she said it will go through the program but the flap does not open and the dishes are not cleaned properly she said she tryed putting the soap in a cup i told her about five min after the program started to open the dishwasher and wait for it ot stop and trow a tablet in to see if it washes any better fasetester

thanks dave for your reply the problum is there is no power going to the dispenser solenoide. i am getting a reading across the terminals what i dont want is to replace the pcb in the door then the whole thing go belly up. is there any way to tell if the solenoide is ok. other that it is not open circuit. if the solenoide was faulty would you not find some sign of damage on the pcb. and can you replace the solenoide with out replacing the whole dispenser. plus can the pressure sw be jammed up and need cleaning or it has to be replaced at the same time as the pcb. how do i test it could run into a costly repair. thanks for all your help fasetester.

Chris. so what sort of fault am i looking for on the solenoide or are you advised just to replace. it because it could wipe out the board chris and can the solenoide be replaced on its owen removed from the dispenser and a new one put in its place. thanks fasetester. 😕

thanks old tog so the pressure sw could need replaced as well. where is it in the sump. i tryed it on several programs with meter connected to dispenser connections nothing traced the wires back to the pcb getting reading on both blue wires pcb no damage to be seen when i open the dishwasher there is enought water in sump but no flap opening have to go back so would need to know what to replace. thanks fasetester

thanks again chris for your reply. could i here from other smeg engineers when you had this problum did changing the board rectify the problum. and is there any thing else i should check before changing the pcb. would you advise changing the detergent dispenser as well i read one of the post that you can change the solenoide or would changing the pcb cure the problum. i checked the board and cant see any damage does any one know any thing about QER reedlands rd that repair pcb. this is a new customer dont want to pay for board then the whole thing go belly up and on what programs does the flap open and should the dishwasher pump out each time for a few min before filling thanks fasetester.

thanks chris for the reply. what program does the the dispencer flap open on. and how long into the program did any one else change a board and cure this problum. i want to be sure could some one give me the pcb number and how much is the board. the customer had a daughter on the web calling out how to reset the dishwasher which i tryed and saying the board was a hundered and twenty + vat should i tell the man to buy the board and i would fit it. do you have to be carefull of static with these boards is there any thing else i should check before fitting a new board. sorry for all the questions 😳 fasetester.

well guys any help is there any thing else that would stop the power getting to the solenoide other that the board even though the error code was a e2 there was no blockages it would fill in ok after pumping out for a far few minuits then wash any help as i have to go back thanks fasetester 🙁

hi guys went to repair the dishwasher there is no juice going to the detergent dispencer. checked pcb and connections pcb looks ok. is their any thing else would cause this problum how many times should it fill before releasing the tablet. i put the meter across the connections went throught every program nothing.

thanks chris for your reply would a blockage in the tranfare pipes stop the solnoid from opening. the detergent flap if the solnoid is open circuit what the chances that the main board could be damaged. is there any way to tell . fasetester 🙂

thanks for the reply jim when i tested it was ok then when it was fully loaded it sounded like a cement mixer. does the belt have to be so tight dont think that would help is the drum kit dear or hard to fit. matters. fasetester 🙂
