ParticipantI bothered today as the diafram in a aquastop valve had burst on an old siemens dishwasher. The customer didn’t want to run to the expense of a complete hose kit, so I removed the diafram from a uni single valve. I must say the new valve presented a chalenge as it was glued together!

ParticipantI can’t say I have ever had much of a problem with CDSL over the last 17 years. They have always been most helpful if I’ve had to bring someting to there attention. I just speak to Vicky (My rep on the phone) and she gets it sorted. And no I’m not related to David Holden.

Can’t fit a VT9 to this one. You’ll need a genuine HPT2600413. No equiv available. £16.77 fron Qualtex. Gordy

ParticipantLet’s hope there are no designers reading this or we maybe out of a job.
What I would like to know is why do manufactures go for a complete redesign when they have just ironed out all the faults on an earlier range. Eg. Hpt WM23 to WMA32.

In answer to Dave Conway’s equery – The second lamp from the left is flashing. The fill valve opens and the machine fills to the correct level and fault condition occurs at this point. Thank you very much for your interest in my problem with this finest piece of engineering Indesit could come up with for Hotpoint.
