ParticipantHave you been drinking again Ted!
It’s just quiet.
But it’s a bloody good comms tool. We ought to keep the impotus up and not let it die like the Electrolux one did and the NESN one. The good thing about this site is I can say what I want without it getting deleted.
So yes Ted I agree, Come back from the FUCKING Dead ( Or Russia !!!).

ParticipantThis probably wants putting under a separate heading, but on the Powerhouse theme a lot of us have been hit with a bad debt.
And we are still all happily plodding along doing other insurance company work when the same thing could happen (God forbid), and we find yet again the policies concerned aren’t backed up or underwritten. Have any of us done credit checks?
Are any of the major insurance schemes underwritten by a third party?
Tempo , Powerhouse who next ? 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁Flipper
ParticipantAs well as spending a lot of time working on this site, you must spend a lot of time reading to the kids. Must say it did bring a smile to my face.

Do you mean that your employees liabilty insurance or premium is affected by your own health and safety policy ?
Dave.
In a nutshell yes. Health and Safety legisation covers a wide range of subjects and anything you do to improve your working enviroment will minimise risk and as such reduce premiums.
Not just my employees liability ,but my combined insurance policy(Buildings, employers liability etc). I’ve had to fill questionnairs in which ask what procedues/systems we have in place , Obviously if you tick the no box the premium will be higher.
Am I on my own here has no one else had to fill this sort of questionnaire in ? Or is it because I’ve being playing hardball trying to get my premium down.Flipper
ParticipantIt is a bind especially when your insurance company latches on to it. I’ve ‘wasted’ hours preparing info and putting sytems in place.

ParticipantI thought this was a piss take.
If it isn’t we are all guilty by association. Will DP turn up if he knows she’s going ?
Should be an interesting evening, I hear she wears really low cut tops.
Ted will you be as entertaining as you were with Chris that evening at Peterborough (Chains and handcuff conversation).
😆
All very interesting!

ParticipantIsn’t Danny the ‘owner’ of the company in the London area that directors of NESN ‘don’t’ have any shares in.

ParticipantColin is ok. Serviceforce Agent , NESN, I think he also works for Smeg and AIS. Also involved in the MFI Thingy. Colin put his name on JT’s Letter. I have been pushing him to sign up.

Dave.
😯 For those that haven’t attended a council or AGM for a while, I would like to point out that at least 5 of the current council members are in there mid thirties. I wouldn’t class this is ‘old school’. A lot of fresh blood with new ideas. 😆
Less of the generalisations please, It is your industry and your future. So get involved
