ParticipantThe trouble is at this time of year we tend to polietly not book repairs in, becuse we know that one job is going to waste so much manpower and time and effort.
That one customer must be the 4th or 5th Brandt customer we have turned away in the last 2 weeks- So expect more Kev.

Thats what i’ve been told but I dont believe it , I would have thought if a driver and mate should be on at least 12 drops.

kheath wrote:What happens at the moment is if we can’t get to a call quick enough to satisfy the customer (perhaps caused by them not being available) they give the call to Phil (Dill). However they give him a new job number and don’t cancle ours. Twice last week we went to calls where one of Phil’s engineers had been the day before. I am unable to get an explanation or apology out of them for that.

Happens regular to us as well, especially with Lux/beko and Crosslee guarantee work, who have ‘whatever happens policys’. we usually go the day after and find Kevins been, I dont think we ought to do what Ken suggests yet I think we should wait till its even busier, say in the run up to Christmas,- no doubt most of us will be booking 3 -4 days away just for a 1st visit.

Reliable source tells me its a small brown goods agent in Cumbria, Who’s 64 fed up, and wants to retire.
Someone has apparantly billed Empire £1 below there auth limit consecutively for 3 months ! Consequently they suspended them and have withheld payment. Now they are skint and are obviously trying any means necessary to get some money.
This what I’m led to believe – whether there is any truth in that I don’t.
