Thanks Martin
Motor and element ok but then told some water had got inside the washing machine? Plumber had been round the back to put in a new soldered elbow joint that broke off. Mmmmm.
Sounds like a new PCB module as the one inside has lovely run marks on it. Hence nothing working but a Christmas tree of LED’s.
Would have been nice if they had informed me of the 15mm pipe leak in the first place soaking the kitchen out.FlyingBrick
ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZWX1605W washing machine error codes.
Hi Martin
The end LED stays on constantly when powered up from the mains.
The whole set of LED’s light up on the last column on the right of the panel and stay constantly lit when trying to get into the error codes.
Cannot get any of the LED’s to flash at all.FlyingBrick by the way is my BMW K100RS 1985 motorbike known as the brick due to the 4 cylinders on the side and it looks just like that from the kerbside of the road. Honest!

Thanks electrofix
Will ring them tomorrow for crazy prices.
Used to get cheap parts from a Danish business operating from a farm building on an Island which were about 30-38{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} cheaper but suspect Miele put them out of the game a few years ago.FlyingBrick

ParticipantRe: Samsung RSA1WTMH Fridge/freezer noisy fan.
Thanks chaps will go and have a look when he has emptied out his freezer and check the state of the fan unit at the top of the freezer.
The side by side Samsung actualy did measure spot on minus 20* C which was set using my thermocouple. So there seems to be no issue on the LHS of the unit. Will check plug connections etc when I get round there.
Does the top light/cover just pull ot with the screws taken out?

Thanks Bryan
Not pulled one apart so where is the one way valve situated on this model. De frost heater on one site shows up at around £82 but shows a photo that looks just like a circualar filter for a dsihwasher?

Will have a go tomorrow to see how far down the brushes are worn. Sounds like an easy way to repair things.

Thanks Bob for taking the trouble on checking.
Customer has now got back to me and told me that he did order the part no from BuySpares who told him it was correct and on opening up the jiffy bag were some little sticky circles and not a 3-4 inch plastic cover with centre bolt and push on bolt cover.
Still scratching my head on this one Bob.
Would have been nice if he had come clean in the first place?FlyingBrick

Thanks Bob for the part number but when I do a search with this number BuySpares comes up with their part number 5045-1797-4609-6
There is no photo for this and it is priced at £2.50 so I guess Buy Spares are wrong? Cannot locate a photo for this item to check it out with. Good old Panasonic.

Thanks Steve
Will be having a look on Monday to see if the element has blown.
Otherwise will be looking at the main module in the washer.
Was thinking of the Bosch problem when the pcb relay track burns out nicely and then you play with a sodering iron and some motherboard wire. Thanks for the advice
